The predecessors of humans far off into the future were ignorant of the life their ancestors lived.
Nor were they aware of the exact events that happened in the past. The most they knew was some basic information on the tactics immortals used to weaken humanity before their arrival, which were carried by humans through word alone.
As for the details, none were the wiser.
Due to their constant oppression and homelessness, they never get the time to research and learn more about the past.
Making it so, when the gift arrived into Luvi's mind, he was barely aware of certain events that happened in the past.
With most of them centering around Ram, whose life history was known to many in the future, for he was the ultimate hero of humanity and the only chance of humanity's survival.
Making it so, the majority of info that was in Luvi's head was related to the events Ram suffered from. And as he was still young, the majority of those included student level threat and issues.
Hell, Luvi was even aware of the amount of chicks that Ram swoon with his charm in the very future.
Though none of them were named at the moment, Luvi was still a bit frustrated over why this detail was included in the gift.
He is not interested in learning how lucky that bastard got into the future. For now, he was more focused on his own practice.
Unaware of the danger that was rushing towards him.
Jarod was old and worked as a nightwatchman in a particular school. Unassuming and barely registered by other guards, Jarod was stationed next to the back entrance of the school where there was rarely any action, due to concern of his age as well as health.
Though alone, he enjoyed his time at his job. Going out to check the rooms in his jurisdiction when bored or listening to music when in the guardroom.
Something which might not have been possible when among other younger guards, who hated his taste in music. So he preferred it here.
"Wha.. Medicine. Where is it?"
But tonight was something different. Out of nowhere, the head of old Jarod started to hurt extensively and he hurried to open his bag and take out some meds he usually kept in his hand.
Though the moment he opened his bag, his hand uncontrollably threw its content out into the floor. Making him confused.
"WH…??"
Then to his horror, the very hand moved like a snake on its own and then grabbed Jarod's neck. "STOP!!" But Jarod won't go down without fighting back, using his other hand, he kept the uncontrollable hand at bay, he's using his elbow to touch the communicator on his chest. Intending to call for help.
Jarod didn't know what was going on, but with his experience in war. He might be struggling due to his age, but he was still able to think somewhat clearly. Knowing that whatever horrors have made him his prey won't be much when confronted by a group or other superheroes.
"Just reach." He thought, trying to keep his hand at bay. But he didn't know when his other hand got so strong and it finally clasped his neck.
"NO….ehha"
"St..a…ph!"
He struggled, trying to remove his hand from his neck. But nothing happened. It was as if the hand was made out of stone, unmovable and unshakable.
There was nothing Jarod could do beside struggling and losing strength as the air escaped his lungs, before he fell into the darkness.
Causing his body to slump and fall on the ground.
"..."
But not for long, as the body slowly rose from the ground and with no emotions in its eyes, slowly left the room and walked out into the open.
As for going where, no one knew.

"Death will reap all one day, so why care?... you live once anyways." Luvi said, planning to gamble some of his money because he was a bit bored.
Since the tournament is on the horizon and his minions were doing their own work, making something out of their time. Luvi was alone in his room, bored out of his mind after the latest sparring session with Idhant.
But all of this was still boring to him. He was gaining strength and using his time efficiently to achieve greater strength, but it didn't mean he was all into practice. He was still a human and needed some entertainment.
So, with so much money in his hand, he put some limit on himself and started to gamble once again after months.
"Just 2k, I won't waste more than 2k."
Andy: Hey, you are in your room, correct?
Luvi: Yes… What happened? You bastard rarely talk to me now that you got famous.
Andy: Brother you know my circumstances, but let's not go there. Just want to inform you to stay in your room. Something serious just happened to one of the guards.
Luvi: ?? What do you mean?
Andy:Some old guard just went mad and tried to murder some students in the Ability sparring arena.
Luvi: Is it serious? Any deaths?
Andy: None, the students were able to take him down. But that is not the real issue, some men in black have come and put the whole arena under lockdown. They believe its some kind of infection. There might be others.
Luvi: Oh boi!! I was getting bored and now this happened. God really exists.
Andy: That old man is dead, Luvi.
One can hear some disappointed sighs from Andy Through the messaging app.
Luvi: Ah, well. Better dead than red, I mean, covered in blood of a bunch of students?
Andy:...
Luvi cut off the communication and started to flip the pages of the gift in his mind.
The little talk with Andy, Luvi didcan't care much about it. Andy already knew what kind of person he was, so there was no need to explain anything to him.
Currently, his mind was occupied with something else.
"Nothing… nothing."
The gift carried major life events that Ram experienced and this event happened in the academy where Ram studied.
Meaning, if it was a dangerous or serious event, it would have been mentioned in the gift at least.
And if it didn't, that would mean that this was just a small incident without much precedent in the future. So after finding no mention of it, Luvi calmed down.
"So, an irrelevant matter indeed."
It was night around 2am, when Luvi as well as all the other students living in his dormitory were called down and forced to go through various checkups where a bunch of men prodded them with rods and scanners.
"Don't panic, but due to some incident, we have to check if you guys are not poisoned. We will do this one by one."
Which alone took two hours, making it 4am by the time Luvi was free to get back to his room.
But that was not the real issue here.
"Poison? But what Andy said was different. Hmm, they seem scared too."
The testing room was brought to the dormitories on a truck, which was pretty cool and all. But what Luvi worried more was the security around this truck.
Due to his senses being boosted by the feline senses skill, he could feel that one of the guards in the group was at least a purple star hunter.
And even he seemed to be worried about something.
"Hmm. let's check again. I might have missed something." This made Luvi check on his gift again. Thinking that this event might be bigger than he expects.
But like before,he found nothing.
"I can't… but FIX probably could."

"That thing possessed one of our guards, tried to kill students and then even caused that old guard to die. And you are asking me to shut my mouth about this?
The Director of Skyward academy, Kalyan Khatri, was the man that handled the security, event management as well as payment of the academy faculties. Making the whole event a direct stain on his management.
But more than management, he was worried about the scrutiny that will be sent his way. How he was not able to protect some students and put them at risk. Making it so that the only way he can clean his name is if he exposed what really happened here to the public.
"Director, I understand your predicament. But we can't cause panic. The enemy we are dealing with is not so simple and if the details about it are out, it would cause mass paranoia and we can't afford that."
"All we can do at the moment is suppress the news and make it sound as if he was mad and nothing more."
"Officer, the fact still remains that this would put all the blame on the school, who then would put all of this on me. I can't accept your words as long as my career is on line."
"So director, do you wish for some compensation?"
"..."
"Not me, but the man that died, he is a victim too and if your story is out, he will be demonized by others. And his family might suffer from it."
"I will handle the backlash, as long as you promise that Jarod's family will be properly compensated."
Hearing this, the officer smiled. "Don't worry Director, we have intended to do it since the start. Just follow our script and we will handle the rest."
Kalyan nodded, seeing that the officer had listened to his words.
As for saying that he was going to do it from the start?
Kalyan didn't believe it. With age came experience and he understood how the government was going to handle this matter.
'Now, I need to talk to those two kids.'
