Richard's POV.
Me and Mommy and also Lizzy just sat in the front chair of the operating room after putting things into the special room for Daisy and our future babies. I started to get nervous because we had been waiting for almost an hour but the door to the operating room had not opened indicating that the operation had not been completed.
"Do c-sections always take so long?" I ask.
"Usually 40 minutes to 60 minutes," replied Mommy who sat beside me. "But your wife gave birth to three babies, of course, the duration will be longer," she continued.
I let out a breath that felt tight because I was too worried about Daisy. Somehow I feel so sorry for letting her alone to face all this, I should have been forced to accompany her. .maybe she is sad, in pain, or uncomfortable, or maybe it's the other way around. I just kept curious until 30 minutes later the door finally opened and my heart was beating much faster again.
