"I'll do it." I announced, and all eyes predictably turned to me.
"What?" Roman raised a brow, his voice sharp.
"I'll go look for the witch." I said, sounding more confident than I felt.
Roman's eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.
"No you will not." He stated calmly and I let out a sigh, knowing an argument was about to ensue and I just didn't have the strength for it.
"Wait," Someone said before I could tell Roman to shove his commands up his icy arse, and I turned to meet Aiko's gaze.
"Did you say the prophecy was retold by another witch a hundred years ago?" She asked Principal Fernsby, who nodded affirmatively.
"Yes. A witch from the Japanese faction of the Almathea coven. She was named Hikari Ken, I believe." Principal Fernsby explained, then raised a questioning gaze to meet Aiko's intense, dark eyes. "Why do you ask?"
