ย I curled up on my favorite sofa by the hearth in the far corner of the library after saying hi to Ms. Kimberly.
It was a rainy day again today. We had gotten to the part of autumn where the rain was ceaseless and unending, and the skies had pulled gloomy, grey comforters over themselves and refused to shed them.
It was an endless, perpetual witchy weather. My absolute favorite.
I turned the envelope around to find Vasilis's handwriting scrawled on the back in the same words as the previous letter.
I blushed a little, then cleared my throat and pulled the letter from the envelope.
There was no preamble, no greeting, no hesitancy.
It felt like being pushed into a pool, or having a door slammed in your face.
Sudden. Exhilarating. Just like how I felt about him.
