Chaos grabbed Orders arm, bringing them closer in the warm evening that surrounded them with slowly fading light. He smiled, he loved how spontaneous she was. He pulled her closer and gave her a kiss on top of her crown of red curls. Chaos smiled and looked up into Orders blue eyes.
"Where to next?" Chaos intertwined her fingers with his
Order scanned the downtown area around them; stores, crosswalks, traffic, people filled his view. He saw it. A single store, a little mysterious looking, with plenty of knickknacks.
"That one" Order nodded in its direction
Chaos smiled even bigger "That looks good to me"
Order smiled as they walked towards the store. He personally didn't find any useful items in stores like these, but he knew how much Chaos loved them
"Do you know how much I love you?" Order asked
"Tell me" Chaos blushed
"More than all the trinkets and souvaneirs in all the small shops in the world!"
"That's a lot you dork" Chaos giggled "let's go inside"
————————Flux Jams out————————
Flux sat with his guitar hooked up to the amp, a slow melody filled the room and his face took on an expression of concentration and of deep feeling. As he hit each note, he felt the music hit him, and he felt his dramatic tendencies begin to rise up
Lost in thought, he talked to himself in an edgy voice "the bittersweet melody soothes my tortured soul as I gaze into the endless aby-"
A giggle cut him off. "Hey babe, I'm leaving for work I'll be back at around the usual time" she ruffled his black curls and gave him a kiss on his cheek, both of which were now bright red with embarrassment
"I, uh, yea, uh I love you, have a good day" Flux blushed. He really hoped she didn't hear that
"Don't stare into the abyss too long" Stasis winked at him before she closed the door
Flux cringed and flopped on his back, laying there for a while. He checked his watch: 9:27am. He pulled out his phone and texted his friends to come over.
An hour later, Flux, Wild, Balance, and Structure were jamming out. Flux was doing a guitar solo, rain drops of notes from Wilds piano joined into the river of music, Balances soothing voice made the river glassier, and Structures solid drumming turned the river into a bubbling brook
Balance popped open a Gatorade. "Whew, good sesh guys, how y'all doin?" Balance sat back on her hands, her long brown hair flowing, nearly touching the tops of her hands. Wild's lithe frame hunched over a tuna and croissant sandwich as he gave a grunt of affirmation. Structure cooly sipped a bottle of water, his massive body made the chair he was sitting in look comically small, he nodded. Flux laid on his back, hands behind his head, just enjoying the moment. Moments like these were the best, where friends could come together and share experiences and make memories. Flux smiled.
