Chereads / Carnival of Life: Human King Arankar / Chapter 29 - Splendid Moves

Chapter 29 - Splendid Moves

Just as the two bosses reached 50% of their health, both of them got covered in a bloody red border aura and roared as they became berserk.

Roughly twenty goblins with daggers manifested before them while both bosses also got stronger.

"Isn't this fucking too hard?" Ekin dumbfoundedly questioned as he saw those twenty goblins rushing towards them while shouting with red eyes.

"Tsk, it seems that this dungeon was supposed to be completed with multiple teams," Luna clicked her tongue. "What do we do?"

"Just do your best," Erina said with a somber expression as a golden aura spread from her body before she mumbled something and raised her hand.

A golden tiara appeared over her head along with a pair of white wings as her talent, Angel's Halo, was activated by her.

Angel's Halo: Can be activated when the user enters trouble, as per the user's sense, causing a sanctuary barrier to appear as it blocks all attacks for five seconds to a certain extent and gives Angel's blessing to everyone, recovering their health and mana for five seconds.

"Everyone, quickly enter the barrier!" Erina said as a golden barrier appeared around her in 10 square meters of area.

Everyone except for Arankar rushed inside the barrier.

"Arankar, come quick!" Luna shouted.

Arankar stood five meters ahead of Erina and others, and thirty meters away from him was a horde of goblins rushing towards him.

But he had long stood in Iaido stance, his eyes focused and shimmering with a faint pale gold hue.

'Seal, Movement.'

Mystical pale gold bindings appeared around all goblins' limbs, even the two bosses.

All stopped moving!

Arankar made the basic use of Seal affinity, creating a skill that bound everyone's movements!

"T-This… what's going on?"

Ekin was startled as he saw whirling pale gold bangles with eccentric patterns around goblins' limbs as they spun mystically, holding their movements in a magical way.

"Look at Arankar!" Luna exclaimed as she saw Arankar enveloped in majestic red-ish amber flame.

Arankar looked at every monster as he locked them as targets with his soul sense and unleashed a move while uncovering his talent, Blazing Bladesman.

*Swoosh!*

A faint burning red string connected all goblins, causing another wave of shock to everyone; they couldn't understand what was happening.

But then, they saw….

Arankar zoomed like a ball of flame, his sword searching as he cut a goblin's head, but then as if in a chain reaction, he moved at a blinding speed. Everyone only saw a flicker of flame moving for three seconds before stopping in front of the two goblin bosses.

Half a second later, everyone saw with dumbfounded gazes as every single goblin's head rolled before they vanished as motes.

Even the two goblin bosses died!

On the other hand, Arankar lay on the floor with a red and steamy body. The sweat couldn't form since it was literally vaporating the moment it formed.

'So this is my current limit? Ugh…I guess I went a bit overboard.'

Arankar wanted to know his current limit on how he could use his existing skills, talents, physical body, and mind to the limit in battle, which resulted in him killing every goblin, including the two bosses, in three seconds.

[Congratulations, you have created a new skill of Seal affinity. An appropriate name is generating for the skill…]

[Congratulations, you have awakened the first effect of Blazing Bladesman talent, Infernal Blade Mark.]

[Congratulations, you have created a unique skill that splendidly uses your Blazing Blademan's first effect and extreme physical exertion. An appropriate name is generated for the skill…]

While the notifications bombarded him, Erina and others arrived and looked at him with various expressions.

'My physical is internally trembling…' Arankar wry thought. 'I need to add points quickly.'

_Statistic: 21.

—> {~ Strength: C(5/10) ~ Agility: C(5/10) ~ Stamina: C(5/10) ~}

—> {~ Magic: A+ (0/35) ~ Mana: A (0/30) ~}

He had twenty-one points as he leveled up twenty-one times total after entering the dungeon, from level 10 to level 31; killing all those goblins and two bosses caused him to go from level 24 to 31.

'Seven in Strength, Agility, and Stamina…Done.'

Spending those points resulted in recovering his stamina and stopping the tremendous physical stress on his body after how greatly he exerted it to the limit, though his mana remained drained.

"What's up?" Arankar asked as he opened his eyes and saw everyone looking at him.

"That was so cool, Arankar. How did you move that fast?" Kira asked with sparkles in her eyes. She waved his spear and moved to and fro a bit to show her speed to Arankar and said, "I can't move that fast even though I have a higher stats physical body than you."

Kira indeed had higher stats due to her unique physique, which gave her B in Strength, C+ in Agility, and C+ in stamina right after awakening.

"I just exerted all of my physical body's stamina in three seconds, resulting in gaining several times higher physical power. But this puts great stress on the body and makes you unable to move unless you have the means to recover," Arankar said as he stood up and moved his limbs as if he was checking his body.

"Hmm, simply adding points in my stats and powering up didn't alleviate the burden completely," Arankar muttered as he observed his physical body, even deeply using his soul sense mastery, observing things at the cell level.

'What was that thing that briefly appeared? Was it my imagination?' Arankar could swear he briefly saw faint black wisps producing from some of his cells, but they vanished so fast, including from his memories.

'It can't be my imagination,' Arankar was convinced that he had seen it.

"Arankar? Why did you turn silent?" Kira asked.

"Ahem, if you have finished your work, can we open those two treasure chests?" Erina said with a wry smile. "We should hurry before others come here."

Ekin nodded. "We'll use our roulette chance after leaving the dungeon."

Everyone also got a roulette chance notification, as they could do one roulette spin for various rewards.

Erina thoughtfully said, "Arankar, you should open the first treasure chest since you defeated the boss. And If the treasure chest you open drops something rare, then also open the second one. What do you all think?"

Everyone was okay with that decision. They moved before the treasure chests as Arankar approached the first one and touched it.

The chest opened, spewing out a bunch of colorful orbs containing various things.
