"I-I want to be here with you."
He paused on whatever he was about to do and stared at the woman in front of him. His brow raised in surprised at what he just heard.
She wanted to be here with him, even when he was about to hurt her minutes ago? Is she insane? Isn't she afraid that he might tried to hurt her again?
"You can't be here, just go to the room," he said. His voice not cold, but not nice either.
"I want to stay," she contended stubbornly.
He took his eyes off the files on the table and looked at her.
She was amusing. One moment she is scared and the other moment she is not.
"Aren't you scared?" he asked, his gaze burning straight to her.
"Scared of what?" she mumbled, her eyes showing nothing, but gutsiness.
"Nothing!" He breathed. "Just go and sit down." He nodded to the couch in the room.
