(A/N: Question. If THIS Kirei were to participate in a Holy Grail War, which Servant do you think he will be able to summon? And I meant THIS one who was Reincarnated and not the original one. Tell your thoughts in the comments.)
Kirei is currently in the Church kneeling as he is praying. After his praying was done and he made a cross on his chest he got up and looked at the cross in front of him.
'It has been 5 years since I became an Executor of the Church and am now 15 years old. And my mental condition is still the same.' Kirei thought to himself as he walked away.
During the five years it has been the repetitive job of hunting the "heretics" as they are deemed by the Church. Due to the amount of kills he had racked up he has been called as a prodigy gifted by the lord and is generally seen as the strongest Executor of this generation. Because of that the people of the Church have great respect for him.
'Though, now that I've spent a good amount of time in the Church, they are too zealous.' Kirei thought to himself as he walked out of the prayer room.
When he was 14, a year ago he was approached by a member of one of the factions in the Church, namely the Conservative Faction. The members of this faction are those zealots who follow the way of the old Church where mercy was not given and anyone seen as a heretic would be killed without an ounce of mercy.
The Church puts the label of Heretics on Magus, people who insult God, those who kill others, Vampires, magecraft users, and anyone who has defected from the Church. They are hunted down without mercy and those within the Church who empathize with them are seen as less by the Faction.
'If it were in the old ages when this thought was the norm in the Church then these sympathizers would've been killed.' Kirei thought to himself as he walked past a few Church members who greeted him which he returned.
Though Kirei refused saying that he doesn't take sides and is a part of the Church as a whole and doesn't wish to join a Faction and would like to do his duty as ordered by the Church. The member didn't press it and left him as Kirei working as he does was more than enough for him and the members of his Faction.
Kirei then returned to his room in the building as the Church members live there with his parents at their home while Kirei is working as an Executor in Europe. Since the Mage's Association is located in London, the hunting of Heretics is more proficient due to the concentration of Magi.
He sat in his chair and touched his cross as he thought about it. For 15 years he has been living in this world, and yet the only way he was able to find enjoyment was through the pain he inflicted on others which he tried to keep himself sane as he is an Executor.
He knew that if he didn't find the satisfaction there might be a time where his mental restraints won't work and he might turn out to be like the original Kirei. He kills others to bring a sort of balance to his mind which is also the reason he has such a high kill count.
Though of course he doesn't kill innocents, the ones he kills are Vampires who hurt humans and Magus who disregard the lives of other humans. This way he is able to keep his mind in check while also protecting others and stick to his moral code. Which also includes not torturing those who were innocent, for example those who were turned into Vampire's without their consent or those who were tricked, he gave them mercy kills to help them be reborn.
He knew about the cycle of reincarnation due to reading about it so he knew that even if he kills them they will be reincarnated and he would hope that they get to have a good life. This also extended to Magi whom he had met as if they are not evil then he leaves them be which is quite hard when most of them are assholes. Though a select few are human enough that he doesn't kill them and instead leaves them with a warning that if they become like those callous ones he will come after them.
He had also made it a habit of his to pray for those he had killed as he would give them silent prayers after their death and verbal ones if they are still alive. As an Executor of the Church and a follower of God he is supposed to spread peace and happiness and so he hoped that by doing that he helped them in finding a bit of peace before and after their death.
"That's right. Tomorrow is Sabbath day isn't it? Wow, time sure flies, already a week has passed." Kirei said as he looked at the calender.
(A/N: The Kiara Kisshouin from Tsukihime became a Bodhisattva using Sabbath. Does anyone of you who have read the case files or anything related know how she did it?)
"Oh God, please help me. I do not know how long I will be able to keep up with this." Kirei prayed in a soft voice as he clasped his hands in a praying motion.
'Please give me a miracle.' Kirei prayed with all his might as hoped that they will be answered.
