It got crowded. This place that always seemed to be so tiny in my eyes suddenly had a huge number of people; even the security could not do a thing. I had to squeeze myself in to get to the front and try to strike up a conversation with Polly West. I have realized that she is popular; I just did not anticipate this to happen just because she was in our store.
People were talking all at once, and Polly's bodyguards were shoving off every individual that was trying to get any closer. I would not want to be thrown by a man who was twice my size and weight, and so I stayed where I was standing, waving my hands in hopes that she would look my way. All these people seemed to be her fans, considering how every one of them was screaming and begging for either a photo or an autograph. Polly turned her head as I stood on my toes and even jumped.
