"Felix Klaus!" I screamed to the receptionist; she backed away due to shock as Vic gently pushed me off the counter.
"Sorry; it was Skye Javier." The lady scanned her computer to check if there was a person with a name like that inside of this building. She looked back at Vic and instructed us on how to go to her room.
It was on the fourth level, and the sixth door was on our left—this must be it! I pushed the sliding door open as it revealed Felix, who was sitting beside the bed where Skye was lying. Her eyes were closed, and a tiny but long tube was attached to her arm; there is nothing beyond that. Felix raised his head and quickly wrapped an arm around my waist to engulf me in an embrace. He was not trembling, but his hug was so tight that I could barely breathe. I wonder what happened to the two of them and how Skye ended up in the hospital.
