I was woken up by Felix getting up from the bed as the door quietly closed. My eyes opened. The mobile that was on the bedside table vibrated. I sat up; the caller was my mother, and my thumb pressed on the screen to answer the call.
"Were you sleeping?" she asked out of concern. I shook my head, realizing how dumb I must have looked doing that when the person I was talking with was unable to see my actions. "I'm sorry I woke you up, but this is a very important matter that I needed to tell you about right away."
