/Eliana's POV/
I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. Forget it, I don't even know what I'm doing. I've been in Edoardo's arms for the past thirty minutes. If it was six months ago, I would've been comfortable. But this is not the Edoardo who provided comfort for me. This is a monster! Who is using our son and the fact that Riccardo killed my abuser to trap me.
"I missed this, Amorina," he rasped, pushing his face into the crook of my neck. "I missed you,"
"We have a lot to work on," I breathed out. 'Lie. There is nothing to work on with him.'
"We will," he removed his face, and locked my hair behind my ear. I resisted the urge to throw his hands away. I need to get through this.
"I will go back to work. You should get some sleep," I flashed him a fake smile as I walked out of the room. Once I made sure I was in the other room, I quickly called Riccardo.
