I knew she didn't call just to thank me. I mean, it's Eliana, after all. The girl who would prefer to die than thank me. Something was for sure going on her mind when she called me.
As I was buried in my thoughts, my phone rang, and it was a private number. How can I forget qaqabout him.

"What is it now?" I threw head back on the couch.
"I gave your team some important info about the murder,"
"Are you surrendering?"
"It's part of the game,"
"And the rules are?"
"Don't look back. Focus on the game,"
"What do you—" he hung up. I seriously don't understand these criminals. If he wanted to surrender, he could've done it in a simple way, but no. He is playing with me.
