/Riccardo's POV/
Calmly waiting for the judges to come inside, I started going through my files. The court is filled with Paula's family, including her sister. She seemed pretty tense. Her hands stuck to the man who was beside her. He kept saying things from time to time, making her lips curved even though it was forced. As I was busy staring at them, the judges entered the room, and everyone stood up. After they took their sit, they told everyone to take theirs.
"We are here today for the trial of Mrs. Paula Andrés Bianchi. Is the defendant present?"
"She is not present due to some health concerns. Here is the proof," Mia gave the judge a piece of paper. He looked at it briefly before staring at Eliana. I turned to see her, but she was as confused as I was.
"Well, is the prosecutor present?"
"Yes, your honor,"
"You may begin your argument," he raised his hand, gesturing him to continue.
