Today was a tough day. After my encounter with my family and Edoardo, I thought my day couldn't get any worse, until now. Riccardo just told his father that he is with me and he has a child. Now, he wants to talk to me in private.
My heartbeat escalated as I saw his tall figure standing in front of the hospital, "You wanted to see me, Mr. Mancini. What did I do to owe this pleasure?" I mocked, trying to cover my fear.
"Leave Riccardo alone!" he was still facing the hospital building. "This is between us!"
A smirk plastered on my lips, "That's not a nice thing to say to the mother of your granddaughter,"
He finally turned around. His eyes were darker than the night itself, "I'm not joking!" his brows furrowed,
"Why would I want to leave—"
"We both know you are just using him," a tall figure came from behind.
I scoffed, "If it was yesterday, I would've been surprised,"
