Riccardo's face went blank as those words came out of my mouth. He is right, there was supposed to be no way I should've known about this.
***Flashback***
"Welcome back, Amorina," Edoardo said, standing inside the kitchen. I ignored him and tried to go upstairs. But he held my hand.
"Look, I'm so tired, okay?" I didn't turn to him.
"Obviously," he mocked. "You had a nice time with your toy?"
"None of your business!" I yanked my hand. But he was strong enough to make me stay still.
"Oh, Amorina. It of course is. We're getting married, remember?" He tilted his head slightly.
"I'm canceling it," I deadpan, "I'm not—"
"How about Adrian?" He smirked, "Are you giving me the full custody?"
I laughed at him, "oh, you're so funny."
"You're welcome," he traced my neck with his cold fingers. "Now to my question. Are you giving up on Adrian?"
