"Hohoho- I didn't expect my little disciple to get a husband so soon. You didn't even tell your master, you sure are a bad girl." An old woman was laughing loudly, Four powerful people were following her, making her seem like a royal queen, protected by the powerful guards.
"Master- How did you find my location!?" Ivy exclaimed upon seeing her master and the elders from the sect.
"Oh, when I noticed that the blood bond was getting weak, I was instantly worried about you, so I had to trace your location. I found it suspicious, you were in the inner parts of the forest and the blood bond was being weakened, it could only mean that you were having some troubles so I personally came here, you're my beloved disciple afterall." The old master explained it to her, clearing her confusions.
"..." Aiden was looking at the old woman and the 5 powerful people behind her, he instantly understood that she was Ivy's master when she addressed Ivy as her disciple.
He was still in awe of the lightning skill that had hit the hidden bowman, who was now dead on the ground.
"Now that I have saved you, you atleast have to tell me about your hubby." The old woman pointed at Aiden, making Ivy's face go red in embarrassment and shyness.
"H-he is not my boyfriend, he is only a friend whom i met a few hours ago..." Ivy tried to clear the misunderstandings, making her master laugh out loud.
The master was enjoying her disciple getting shy, she liked to tease her everytime they met so it was not something new.
Aiden was staring at the woman at this moment. He moved forward and introduced himself. "Hello, I am Aiden, I am Ivy's friend. I should thank you for saving our lives, giving us the chance to leave here, alive." He thanked her and bowed in respect.
"Oh- there is no need to be so formal, You are Ivy's friend so you're like my disciple. Also, you don't have to thank me, I did this to save Ivy's life as she is my disciple, so there is no need to be thankful." The woman was really nice and was really sweet towards him, he felt like addressing her as his grandmother but then, he let go of this idea.
"So, what the hell are you guys doing here? I mean, you won't come here to cause trouble for nothing, right?" The old woman looked at Ivy and Aiden, raising her eyesbrows.
"T-that's... I have something important to tell you..." Ivy walked closer to her master and elders and explained everything to them.
"What!?" The old master exclaimed. All the elders had grim expressions on their faces.
"Aiya, Foolish girl! What do you think you were doing here without telling me about this? Are you tired of living? You should know that you will only be walking into the mouth of a tiger if you continued to be so foolish."
The old master gave her a tough scolding before finally letting it go.
"And you, boy, That's why I thought your name was familiar... As you're the Nighshade emperor, You will have to be careful, The devils are going to hunt you down till they end your life, you can only get stronger to survive this chaos, or the world will face the 'Chaos' once again." The old woman said the same thing as Ivy had told him, he now completely believed that this realm was somehow connected to the real world as the things here were going the same way as the real world.

After walking for 10 minutes or so, they finally arrived at the destination. The royal blood inside the sage gem was starting to circulate at a very fast speed, making it seem like a cyclone of blood.
"Halt your steps, we've arrived at the destination, we have to be careful now." The old woman signaled everyone to stop, her voice was very strict and serious.
Everyone stopped upon receiving the command, not wanting to anger the scary old commander.
"Shoosh-" In the next second, a strange noise sounded in their ears, making them go on alert.
It was the noise of an arrow being launched, the traget this time was Aiden. The speed of the arrow made it impossibke for him to dodge, resulting in....nothing?
Aiden looked at the arrow which was now broken into pieces. He turned back and looked at the old commander with watery eyes.
This arrow would've definitely pierced through his hear, resulting in him to die, but the old master had saved him, he was really grateful towards her.
"Now is not the time to thank me, get your ass to work boy!" The old domineering commander shouted at him, making him wake up to reality.

"Shoosh-" Another arrow was fired at Aiden, making him jump back on instinct.
His forehead was already covered in sweat because of the scorching hot sun and now, he was stuck in this dire situation, His instincts were working faster than before... maybe because of the arrows he kept dodging a few minutes ago.
"Good one, brat-" The old commander gave him a thumbs up, seeing his reaction speed this time.
"Hehe-" Aiden gave her a smug look before rolling up his sleeves.
"Tehehe- Time for work
