Chapter 3 - Purple Spirit Clan

"This... The Void Emperor's lightning body!" Her mouth hung open in shock as she saw Aiden's soul form.

"Hm? What emperor's body?" Aiden asked, confused. The soul refining process had succeeded, and the seal had been broken. Aiden felt a tremendous amount of energy being emitted from his soul.

"You're a descendant of that person!?" She asked incredulously.

"Who? I don't know what you're talking about..." Aiden has a confused look at this moment.

"Forget it, I can't tell you about that right now. You must be protected, or those people will..." She said, her expression grim. She seemed scared of something, and her fear was palpable.

Aiden didn't want to inquire about why she was acting like that, as she was his savior, and he didn't want to intrude into her private matters.

"Young brother, become my disciple. Although I won't force you, I suggest you do so, as it concerns the future of this world..." She addressed him as "young brother" and suggested he become her disciple.

"Me? Disciple!? Such a powerful person is willing to take me in as a disciple?! I am only a trash among trash. I can't even face Chaos Initiates, and yet this senior sister wants me to become her disciple? It is the dream of every cultivator to become the disciple of such a great presence, and I am given this chance by the heavens... I simply cannot deny it. I must be crazy if I dare reject this offer..." Aiden was bewildered. He was very shocked when Rias asked him to become her disciple. He didn't want to miss this chance to become someone with great power. How could he simply let it slide? He was ready for whatever he had to face, but he would do anything to become strong, so that no one could bully his loved ones again.

"This disciple greets Master..." He quickly kneeled on the ground and greeted his new master, his lifesaver.

"Good. I swear that you will never regret this decision ever in your life. If you do, I shall vanish along with my soul." Rias was very happy, as Aiden had chosen the right path for someone with great power.

"This disciple swears loyalty to Master. As long as I can become strong, I shall even pluck the moon or the stars for my master..." He pledged his loyalty to her. Her trust was everything for him.

"Okay, okay. Get up now. You don't need to be so stressed. You don't have to swear loyalty or anything. Just walk the right path and never walk the path of evil. From today onwards, you're my disciple." She patted his shoulder and gestured for him to get up.

"Now that you've become my disciple, may I get to know your background and what caused you to commit self-harm?" She asked him curiously.

"Ah, about that... I am the young master of the Roy Family. My father was the sect leader of the Roy sect. My mother was of a very mysterious background. Whenever I asked her about her family background, she used to say that she was the young lady of the 'Purple Spirit Clan'. This name was very mysterious to us. Even my father didn't know about this clan. My mother had married my father when she was not in contact with the clan for years. She had long lost any connections with the clan. She also used to tell me that one day, I would inherit something called the Purple Spirit Clan's 'Spirit Emperor's Body'. It may be related to the Void Emperor's body you mentioned earlier." He told her everything about his family background, he told her everything that could be useful and informative.

"W-what did you say!? Which clan was your mother from!?" She exclaimed in disbelief.

"The Purple spirit clan...?" He was a bit confused about why her reaction was so ugly when she heard the clan's name.

"I should have already known, you aren't from any ordinary background... boy, do you even know that your mother belonged to one of the top 8 ancient clans? The Purple spirit clan is no joke, The master of the clan is known to be at the Chaos Supreme peak level. He can even defeat me and even the great sect's fear him, the alchemists association is also their ally, they are the overlords of the Spirit Mansion." She explained to him, her words made Aiden's mind go wild. He simply couldn't comprehend what she was saying.

"Such power!! I didn't even know that my mother belonged to such a powerful clan..." He replied to her.

"Putting that aside, what caused you to commit suicide?" She asked him again.

"It is... it is that my parents were killed... they were killed by the Zin clan... They were too powerful, my father and mother tried their best to protect our sect's and me but at last, they died at the filthy hands of those Zin sect people. After this incident, I committed suicide like a coward instead of fighting back, I am such a disgrace..." He said while clenching his fists. His expression was very sad at this moment.

"Oh... I am sorry for your loss, but don't worry, with me here, you will have many opportunities of taking revenge for your parents and sect..." She rubbed his hair and then hugged him tightly.

"with me here, no one can bully you anymore..." She hugged him with affection, he had already suffered so much, she couldn't bear to see him suffer, she didn't know why but she couldn't let this boy get harmed or let him suffer. Her inner self told her that she couldn't let this boy get hurt or she would even go against gods.

"..." Tears rolled out of his eyes as this was the first time that someone other than his family cared so much for him.

He hugged her tightly as well as he was feeling comfortable in her embrace.

"Don't cry, silly boy, master will always be with you from now on. No one will dare to may you cry, i will protect you, even if I have to fight the gods, I won't leave you..." She wiped his tears and then looked in his eyes with a bright smile on her face.

"Now ... Let's train our new disciple...
