Joya felt dizzy in her head. She shook her head.
"Are you okay?" Ridwan held Joya's shoulder. He frowned at Joya's flushed face. Ridwan also smelled alcohol from Joya's body.
"Did you drink?"
Joya shook her head quickly.
"I drank the wrong one, Hk! Hk!"
Joya hiccupped repeatedly. Unable to distinguish between syrup and wine, Joya was drunk from taking the wrong drink.
Ridwan grimaced. He forgot that Joya was an innocent woman who might have picked up the wrong glass to drink from. And unluckily, alcohol-filled glasses were wandering around at this party.
Looking at Joya's droopy eyes and her constant hiccups, Ridwan was sure that the alcohol had already started to react on Joya's body.
"Let's go home!" Ridwan took Joya's hand, but Joya immediately brushed it off roughly.
"Let go! Don't be impudent! Get away from me!" Joya scolded as she pushed Ridwan's body gently. Joya was staggering, she couldn't even stand up properly.
