Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Crossing The Line

Damian and Isabella arrived at his secluded cabin in the woods, the silence was punctuated only by the sound of leaves rustling in the gentle breeze.

The rustic wooden structure blended seamlessly into the forest surroundings, with its logs, moss-covered roof, and unobtrusive windows.

Dried leaves rustled underneath their feet as they walked towards the entrance. As they stepped inside, the scent of wood and pine filled their nostrils. The cabin was dimly lit, with a fireplace casting flickering shadows across the room.

Despite the inviting warmth emanating from the cabin, Damian's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Luna. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about her, something that he needed to understand before making any hasty decisions.

Not longer than a few minutes they arrived at the cabin, Isabella voiced her frustration. "Damian, why didn't you let me finish off Luna? We had her right where we wanted her."

Damian remained silent, his thoughts still fixated on Luna. Isabella, on the other hand was still angry. Perhaps jealous of the way she noticed Damian look at Luna.

"We should have just killed her." She pouted, taking a seat in the wooden chair close to the fireplace.

Damian turned to her with a stern look. "Luna is not just any ordinary werewolf. There is something about her that I'm trying to figure out. Until then, no one touches her unless I say so."

Isabella rolled her eyes, not fully convinced by Damian's explanation. She knew he was always cautious and calculating, but she also knew that he was never one to shy away from an opportunity to strike down their enemies.

As Damian's thoughts still lingered on Luna, Isabella could sense the unease and decided to take matters into her own hands. She began to walk seductively towards him, her hips swaying in a hypnotic rhythm.

"Come on, Damian. Forget about Luna. We have all we need right here, together. Besides, she's just a werewolf, and we both know how much you hate those creatures, you only love their blood." Isabella purred, trying to convince Damian to give in to her advances.

She leaned in to place a kiss on Damian. As their lips met, Damian responded hungrily, his hands grabbing her waist and pulling her closer. They kissed and embraced, the intensity of their passion grew.

They whooshed around the cabin with their powers, sending objects flying in all directions as they lost themselves in their passionate embrace. Isabella felt an intense pleasure coursing through her body, but her mind couldn't shake off the thought of Luna.

But as the intensity of their lovemaking began to subside, Damian abruptly pulled away from Isabella, his mind still preoccupied with thoughts of Luna. He couldn't shake the feeling, the attraction he felt standing so close to hwr.

Isabella sensed his hesitation and knew that she needed to tread carefully. "What's wrong, Damian? You're not still thinking about Luna, are you?" she asked, running her hand down his chest.

Damian turned to her, his expression serious. "I can't help it, Isabella." He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled it away from his chest.

Isabella sighed, feeling frustrated. She knew that Damian was cautious and methodical, but she also knew that she couldn't let her guard down.

"Fine, but just remember that we have an opportunity to eliminate our enemies, and we need to take advantage of it," she said, her voice laced with a hint of disappointment.

Damian's anger boiled over as he lunged towards Isabella, his movements fluid and quick like a panther pouncing on its prey. He closed the distance between them, his muscles tensing with each step.

In one swift motion, he snatched her by the neck with a vice-like grip and pinned her against the wall, her feet dangling in the air like a rag doll. Isabella's heart raced as she looked up at Damian's face, which was twisted with fury.

The vampire's fangs elongated slowly, glinting in the dim light of the room like two sharp blades. Isabella gasped as she felt them puncture her skin, drawing a bead of blood that trickled down her neck.

She squirmed, trying to break free, but Damian's grip only tightened, making it impossible for her to escape.

The room was silent, save for the sound of Isabella's gasps and Damian's heavy breathing.

"I said NO killing Luna," Damian growled, his voice low and menacing as he laid emphasis on each word.

He leaned in closer, his eyes locked onto hers, and repeated himself with a deadly seriousness.

Isabella's heart pounded in her chest, and her eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape. But Damian's grip was unyielding, and his strength was far beyond hers.

"Remember I'm still your Master and you do as I say, understood?" He tightened his grip, and she could feel the pressure on her windpipe, her lungs screaming for air.

Despite the pain and fear, she managed to nod her head, a feeble gesture of submission. Damian's grip loosened slightly, allowing her to gasp for air. She tried to speak, but her voice was hoarse and weak, no match for Damian's iron grip.

"Understood?" he asked again, his tone more forceful this time.

"Understood, Master Damian," she rasped.

Damian gave her a curt nod of approval before releasing her. Isabella collapsed to the ground, gasping for air. She clutched at her throat, feeling the bruises that his fingers had left. Damian stood over her, his eyes blazing with fury.

"Remember this," he spat. "You serve me, and no one else. If you ever disobey me again, the consequences will be dire."

With that, he turned and strode out of the room, leaving Isabella alone in the silence, her body shaking with fear and pain.

The room fell silent as Damian left. Isabella knew better than to question his authority, for she was just a spark compared to the raging flame of her master.

As the days passed, Luna immersed herself into more training. She had decided to forget about the attraction she might be feeling and focus in her mission. She needs to be at her best, for she knew that Damian would not be an easy prey.

Moreover, she's looking forward to a rematch with Isabella. Her mind briefly flashed to how Damian's arms encircled her body, pulling her closer to him.

Her duty as a hunter had always come first, but her growing attraction to him was becoming harder to ignore.

One day, as she was practicing her swords skills alone in the woods, she felt a presence behind her. She turned around but found no one, just the endless green of the forest.

She was feeling really on edge but she was determined to become the best hunter she could be.

She continued her training, slashing and cutting trees with her sword until her muscles ached with exertion. Sweat poured down her brow, and her heart raced with adrenaline.

As she finished her training for the day and was catching her breath, she felt that strange presence behind her again; like she was being watched.

Luna turned around, her eyes scanning the clearing, but no one was there. Suddenly, as quickly as she blinked, Damian appeared out of nowhere like he had been there all along.

His eyes pierced into hers and Luna couldn't help but feel a shiver run down her spine.

"Hello, Luna," he said, his voice smooth and suave.
