“Zac, Mommy is really tired, go do your homework first.” Megan gently patted the head that was resting on her chest. “Let Mommy sleep a bit, then we’ll go out for dinner.”
Andrew relaxed and listened to her strong throbbing heartbeat. He closed his eyes and smiled. It had been a while since he was this close to a woman’s heart, or bosom. A little over two years, if he really wanted to count. But he didn’t. He was happy to hear Megan’s heart was beating well and he was starting to wish they were in a different place. Especially a place where Bebe was not staring at him with her tongue sticking in and out of her mouth, huffing and puffing.
Megan stirred in her sleep when she felt the weight was still on her chest. She patted his head. “Zac, you’re too old to be doing this. Your classmates will laugh at you.”
