Andrew gave Tony an up-close scrutinizing look. “Oh, is that a blush? Are you blushing?”
“No!” Tony quickly rubbed his cheek and gave Kalina the warning look that he would get her back for not telling him she had left her lipstick mark there since this morning. “It’s because I’m rubbing my cheek.”
“That’s just one side, why is the other side red as well?” Andrew continued to tease. Then he turned to Kalina. “I didn’t take you to be the liberal type. But don’t go breaking his heart! It costs a lot of money to heal this heart of his!”
“I am only trying to rent out my spare room!” She tried to hide her own embarrassment and turned to follow Tony.
Megan and Andrew stood laughing at Kalina and Tony as they walked to the elevators. When he knew they were alone again, he took Megan’s hand as a gesture to leave as well. But Megan was concerned. “Can we see if Dani is awake? I want to know how she is doing. It’s tough when you don’t have family around.”
