Nicholas perspective:
Wedding was in he end. In the end I am really tired, especially with all the meeting and dancing. I never dance but these few days Violette ate my head shouting and yelling at me, and today I didn't stumbled nor step on Nora's, dress or foot. Speaking of dancing she was really a good dancing, maybe she took dance classes or like me she has practiced few days before the wedding. I was in my own thoughts when Nora spoke from beside me.
"Where is your family?" she was meeting with some guests, when they were gone she whispered to me.
I just shrug, "I don't know" I said whispering to her. She gave me a look. "Where are yours?" I asked and she just shrugged not answer. "I am so tired" I groan and yawn, she yawns too. Than started to lean on me. I was standing still.
"Hey, bro" I was pull in tight embrace from behind, Nora was taken a back and jumped to side, "Congratulations." Adrian said in cheering tone and not to forget shouting.
"You remembered that you have come to your friend's wedding. Anyway, thanks." I said, shoving him off of me and punch him on the chest. I glance at Nora, she was staring at him really curiously. Now I look at them why they look so similar. I tilt my head but shook it, when Adrian spoke.
"Well you know that I am so handsome, girls were not leaving me " he said running his hand through his hair from his forehead, dramatically.
"Yeah right, girls were not leaving you or you were not leaving them, until they slap you in your face." I said smirking his red face, I heard chuckle from beside me and Adrian face got flushed in red, he turned towards her. I introduce her, "By the way, meet my wife Nora Bretons, Nora my mistakenly best friend Adrian Smith." I quote the mistakenly.
"Nice to meet you I always want to meet you, you know well we rarely see the heirs of two richest family of the country, am I right Miss Nora. " Adrian ramble shaking hand with her and raising his eyebrow at her, she smiled at him.
"yeah, nice to meet you too Mr... .Smith" she said a little hesitate in her name, she step a closer to me.
"Please, just call me Adrian, I am very sensitive about my last name." He said in a most flirtatious tone and winked at her.
"Uh huh " she respond I chuckled.
"Adrian, at least behave with her "
"Nico you know that I have a disease. " He said.
"What kind of disease?" she asked curiously her eyes glinting.
"Disease of.... Flirting. " He said huskily leaning close to her.
"Is there, is some of kind disease?" She asked from me, I laughed. She pouted and crossed her arms over chest.
"Well well look who is it here. The celebrity join us here." Dad said, coming with Elizabeth with hand locked on his elbow, his one hand twisting Adrian ear.
"Uncle, I will explain everything." He said in a pained tone.
"So explain. I will hear." He said not letting go of his ear.
"Celebrity?" Nora asked looking curiously at dad. Dad nodded and I ruffle his hair.
"He is a singer." Dad replied to her. Noa look at him narrowing her eyes.
"He doesn't look like." She remarked, Adrian ignored her and explain to dad, probably in pain.
"Uncle Bretons I was so busy with uncle Martin and there were so much interviews recently I don't have time to come to you, I was not even going to come to Nico wedding, actually my schedule was not letting me, please leave my ear it's going to be very difficult for my carrier, UNCLE." Adrian said in one go and whined at the end. I laughed. Dad leave his ear and pat his back and Elizabeth nod towards Adrian, he nod back rubbing his ear.
"Speaking of Martin where is he?" Adrian shrugged. Dad also shrugged and stared at Nora than at Adrian for a long time, "Why do both of you look so similar. Do you know him, Nora?" He asked. Nora looked at him and he looked at her. They look similar. Black hair, brown eyes, long lased, same smile, perfect jaw.
"Congratulations my son, I am very glad I watch your wedding in my life." I heard dad saying, he hugged me, I glance at Adrain he was staring curiously at Nora.
"I am glad to dad, I hope my mother was also here." I said, dad smile drop but he pat my back. I saw Nora she held a confuse expression.
"I think kids are seem tired, I think James we have to leave. Most guest left." Elizabeth said. Dad nod and walked Adrian tailing behind him saying something about the restaurant and his schedule. Elizabeth turned toward us.
"I hope you both have successful relationship in the future." She said smiling at Nora, she kissed her forehead and walk away. For a while she touched the spot than shook her head and turned towards me.
"You don't have mother so who is she?" Nora asked confusedly pointing towards Eliza. Tilting her head and wrinkling her nose turning towards me. She is so cute.
"She is my stepmother." I said to her, pinching her cheek.
"She is your what?" she asked again, slapping my hand away.
"Step. Mother" I did it again anyway.
"Hey, love birds go to your home and have fun there." Adrian shouted from back and stood beside me.
"Why do you shout so much?" Nora asked, he gave her a cheeky smile which she laughed at.
"Come on, let's go home" I said and pull my hand for her, she took it hesitantly.
We both walked to the entrance hand in hand. Her father came to take her hand but she grabbed my arm instead and motion me to go forward. I pass the smile to her father he smiled back. His wife and daughter nowhere in scene. I grabbed the key from Adrian and open the car door so she can enter in the passenger seat after she sat, I walk to driver seat and start the engine and wave them all goodbye, I noticed dad car went, so I drive the car.
In car no one talked, I want to start a conversation, but I don't know how. I want to know what is between Elizabeth and Nora, Why Elizabeth want to make her life hell, and what was the revenge thing she was talking one month ago? My life main villain is she. Because of her I never live a life what I want too. Only one thing she did right to me that is giving me Seth and Violet. Only because of them I treat like she is my own mother, If they wer-
"What are you thinking? You are so deep in thoughts" she asked, stopping my train of thoughts. I glance and she was looking at me, I look at road again.
"Umm yeah no nothing, its just I am confused" about you I want to say but control my tongue and for her response there was a nod. There was still silence in the car. We didn't said anything and my thoughts gone away far. Now only I want is sleep. We arrived at the mansion, we walked in and my family was already there.
"How in- " I can't even complete my sentence and Seth spoke up.
"We came from short cut" he said cutting me off while looking at his phone, cutting me off.
"I didn't even complete my sentence." I said and he gave me a smile with a shrug.
"I am going to sleep bye everyone." Violette announced and taking of her hells she went to her room.
"I think you might have to pick her up to the room. She look like she just gonna passed out any moment." Seth said worriedly pointing at her.
"Nora come here." I grabbed Nora hand and sat her on the sofa, pulled her heels out and pick her up in bridal style.
"What are you doing?" She question me in sleepy voice.
"I picking you up." I said to her and for my relief she didn't protest.
"Ok" she said. Putting her hands around my neck and leaning her head against my chest.
"You guys are just married and acting like a couple. Anyways I am going to sleep" Seth said sarcastically.
"You and your stupid remarks." I said under my breath and she let out a laugh a little while closing her eyes. Come to think of it she don't even have weight, light as a feather. I walked upstairs to our room with her in my arms, she snuggle in the crook of my neck. I open the door with my foot and shut it with my foot.
I laid her on the bed and get in the bathroom to wash up, after I get up Nora was already awake she noticed me and asked, "Do you know where my suitcase is."
"Umm yeah, its in there" I answered her gesturing towards wardrobe door, she get in without hesitation. I use my phone a little.
"Nichoals" she called coming out of closet, startling me. "Sorry if I scared you."
"No its okay. Do you want something?" I asked, yawning.
"Yeah, sleeping pills." She said. I narrowed my eyes at her but nodded and pointed towards her side drawer. She nodded. She was wearing her night gown which come to her knees. "Thanks." I was asking why she need it but I was too sleepy to ask and honestly to lazy.
"Go to sleep" I said and she nod and went to the left side of bed. "Umm do you want me to sleep elsewhere?" I asked awkwardly scratching back of my head.
"Its your room I think I have to ask you." She said sitting on the bed.
"I take that as a no. And sleep on the bed." I said and lay on the bed. She do the same after chuckling. I sighed, My first night with my wife. Wonderful. And closed my eyes.
