“We made it!” Spencer waved excitedly at the bride and groom. Then Rebecca and Adam appeared from behind the doors. When they noticed everyone looking at them, Adam grabbed hold of Spencer and bowed apologetically. “Sorry! So sorry!”
“Don’t apologize! We’re glad you made it!” Daniel watched as Ethan and Emily scurried towards them. “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special guest in our presence tonight, Spencer Miller Tucker, who I hope has his doctor’s permission to be here?”
Rebecca and Adam nodded and Spencer put up his two thumbs and shouted. “Dr. Kneves said OK!”
“That’s great, Spencer!” Daniel turned and smiled at May who then closed her eyes and whispered a prayer of thanks to God for that meant Spencer’s surgery went very well. Daniel continued speaking into the mic. “I was just about to thank some of our honorable guests for being here. Who better to start then this little boy?”
