Kate was trying to surrender her prize of $95 for winning the bet because she didn’t want to be the one responsible for collecting the evidence. However, the bridesmaids were not willing to let her off the hook. In fact, they were willing to double the prize for any proof of evidence that May had surrendered her ‘Old Maid’ status before the night was over. She turned to her firstborn and the groomsmen for help, but they were all smart enough not to go against their wives.
“Maybe they are asleep already!” Kate said. “I was sleeping like a baby by midnight on my wedding night!”
Everyone burst out laughing and turned to look at Randy who shrugged his shoulders with a grin. Then Ethan gave his dad a pat on the back. “Way to go, Dad! You sure tired Mom out on your wedding night!”
Kate gave her husband a surrendering plea and extended her phone to him. “Here, you knock on the door! You can have the money!”
