Life begins with a storm. How do we address that storm is not the only thing that matters. The point is also that the storm is a real storm. There is pain, panic and disease. There are bacteria many. Just positive thinking and no doing couldn't be the best of of the way. On the contrary, positive thinking and positively working to achieve independence from problems can be the more correct way. We do not deny religion when it says stay positive but not when it says stay positive and imagine solutions without actually working on any.
Life is full of problems. Staying optimistic could also mean working hopefully. Having faith on one's own abilities to resolve problems. But why does it mean to meditate for the whole day? Why does it mean imagining good and ignoring stress and strain of life? Can we not be taught better than this? It hurts being scientific to be religious person! But then there are many scientists who respect many religions of various regions. Why can't religion respect science? Science that though creates sometimes problems but that's mostly unknowingly. Science that saves lives! Wow! Science that attempts to save lives! Is this aspect of the science is also not holy?
