To begin is not to end. To end is to begin again some future date. We cannot accept defeat. If defeat is in the fate then we cannot accept fate. Religion should mark the day for science success when the religion was questioned again.
We need not tremble in front of divine. If he is our father why will he hate us for our sins. Instead he will expect great doings from us. Rather than just silently sitting and imagining Him.

True, science doesn't talk of unshakeable ethics! But what percentage of religious people are 'following' ethics? Next to nothing! So religion just like science is also a failure in teaching ethics.
