Alright, it looks like I have some explaining, so let's start at a pace that isn't escalated as much as possible! As Teles and I approached the living room where Silvia was located, I decided to give her some background info first.
"So, remember that build I created with the cacti?" I said calmly
"Yeah, I saw it," Teles responded
"Well, let's say I did a field test to see if it actually worked, and let's also say that my plan had a 100% success rate..."
Teles was getting a little suspicious with all my vague statements "What's going on, what happened during this 'test' of yours?"
I decided I just need to come clean and tell her at this point.
"I created special xp bottles, used them on a monster, and now they're basically human now kinda like you," I said
Teles lit up in surprise and astonishment at what she just heard "Wait, let me get this straight, you found an easier way for monsters to become human again without anyone having to be killed?!?!"
"Well yeah"
"That's amazing news! T-This is probably the greatest task I've seen someone accomplish!" Teles said ecstatically, hardly containing her excitement, "Why would you feel to be so bottled up about it?!?!" Teles said happily, impressed by this new discovery I made
"Because well... they had to follow me home..." I admitted
Teles' shoulders dropped a bit "That doesn't sound bad, I would be happy to meet them!"
"Alright, follow me to the living room," I said, still having fingers crossed

As we entered the room where Silvia and Rei were waiting, I notice Silvia was still looking a bit shy and timid, Rei was trying to make her feel better, but you could honestly only do so much, stuff like this is only a matter of time till she would open up more. As Teles approached Silvia, she started to stare at the new girl who was waiting on our couch, but luckily she didn't dead stare, but I can tell she was surprised. I just hope Teles is okay with this.
"So, is this who you saved with all that xp?" Teles asked with an eyebrow expression
"Yeah, I used it on a trapped spider in the mines..." I paused for a moment then said "You're not upset are you?"
Teles stopped and turned to me staring with her purple eyes, she didn't look mad at all though, instead, she said "Why would I be upset? You saved a child from continuing to live as a monster in under a day!" Teles said grabbing my hands
Wait, she thinks Silvia is just a kid? I guess with her height and the outfit she has on, I guess you could say she was a child at first glance, you know what? I will just roll with it and say that I didn't know at the time in case Teles found out about her real age.
Teles then proceeded to introduce herself to Silvia in a calm and open manner
"Silvia was it?" Teles asked, Silvia, nodded her head
"I'm Teles, nice to meet you, it's pretty rare to see other people who used to be monsters," Teles said as she reached out her hand to Silvia "We're all going to be here for you, so don't worry..."
Surprisingly Silvia actually opened up to her a lot faster than I did, I guess she either had someone else to relate to, or it's the fact that Teles made a pretty good first impression I don't know I'm not gonna overthink it, but she's starting to talk a little more now, so what matters is that I know what next move I'm going to be making. I decided to ask some leading questions,
"Tell us, Silvia, do you have anywhere to go?" I asked if I was fine with building more rooms to my base of course, but if she has a home she needs to get back to, It would be best to return.
"umm, I-I don't know..." Silvia said while looking down "I don't have anyone left..."
"Well, if it's alright with you, you could always stay at the base." I offered, I also turned to Teles "Are you okay with that?" Teles nodded, she wouldn't leave a "Kid" out in the cold.
"I-I can't!" Silvia said worriedly
"Well you look human now, so other monsters will attack if you go out into the night," Rei warned
"We would feel better if you stayed here," Teles said
"I can easily build and expand upon my base at any time, adding another sleeping space should take no time at all" I explained "I was prepared for this situation ahead of time!"
After moments of persuasion, Silvia agreed to stay. I noticed the true reason why Silvia didn't want to stay, not because she had somewhere to be, not because she didn't like this place, but as if she didn't want to burden us, but I will just say this, it would bother me more knowing I couldn't help someone when they were right there in front of me...heh, jeez I'm starting to sound like Stephen when I was with him in the doctor office a long time ago...

Before I put the finishing touches on Silvia's room, I decided to make food for the night, and what better than to celebrate my breakthrough with my famous burger recipe!( I mean it isn't famous worldwide, but it was one of the tastiest foods I know how to cook) I started by cooking some beef in the furnace, toasted bread, and washed some vegetables (That's right! Other vegetables like lettuce and onions actually exist in this world!) I made a burger for Rei too, but she couldn't stay here long tonight, while I sent her off I decided to ask a favor of hers.
"Here you can at least take one on your travels," I said handing her the food I made
"O-oh alright thanks!" Rei said, I guess she has never seen food like this before.
"Say Rei, can I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"So you know about the xp farm I made today? And how it can revert monsters slowly back to humans?"
"yeah?" Rei was starting to do that confused look again.
"Well I think I can help you here, I want to build one of these machines in the city you told me about!" I said
Rei said nothing, I guess she wasn't exactly prepared for what I said at the moment, "What are you talking about?" Rei said sounding serious, I better explain a bit more
"I know this may sound sudden, but now that I know this exp machine works, we can make the trip, you told me a while back, and I still remember the horrific story of how an empire that big got turned into skeletons. Ever since I learned that I knew I needed to find a way to help the monsters who had their fates sealed!" I explained
Rei's expression lit up once I actually explained my plan, "But the city is FAR from here! I drifted too far from it when I was first turned into a skeleton monster!"
"Rei!" I said grabbing her "I know what you've been doing when you leave my base! I know you're trying to find the city again to help the residents there!"
"W-What makes you say that?" Rei said in disbelief, probably 'thinking how do I know this?'
I smirked "I occasionally ask Teles to watch from afar, besides the fact that you sneak into here, why else would you not want to stay with us?" Thanks to Teles' ability to teleport to any place she's been before, she was crazy capable of watching Rei by teleporting into the trees!
"Well, I haven't found the city yet, I feel like I'm going in circles here," Rei said sounding a bit spirit broken
"That's why I also created this!" I said as I pulled out a tool, it was a compass, but I had it enchanted! Compasses were tools in Minecraft that always pointed you back to your spawn location, now of course compasses in this world just pointed north, south, east, and west just like the compass in my world, but that wasn't going to help me in that situation, I just needed to continue to explain.
"A compass? I don't get it?" Rei said
"Tell me, have you slept in any other beds since the day you were transformed?" I asked
"Well, no, I've been mostly on the run, I don't really need as much sleep as normal people do, and even when I DO need to rest, I would just do it in a protected area," Rei explained
"Perfect, look at the compass, where it's pointing" I showed her
"It's... pointing to your bedroom?" Rei answered
"Exactly! I enchanted this compass, and made it to where it will always point the direction to home!" I said, Rei was in total shock
"H-How did you do that?!?!?" she shouted
"eh, it's hard to explain..." I said looking off to the side "All that matters is if you're holding this, it WILL lead you home, aka the city!"
Rei was staring straight at the ground in disbelief "I-I can't believe it... I-I Don't know what to say..."
"A-Are you sure they will still be in the city??? It's been years since I left, how will I know that anyone is still hanging around there!?!?" Rei asked
"There is only one way to find out, I'd rather have direct answers and do something than do nothing but be filled with doubt and curiosity!" I shrugged "We might as well try! It's the only thing we can do!"
"However," I said "there is one thing I need from you to make this trip," I started
"What is it?" Rei asked in anticipation
"I need you to get me a horse!" I said
I could see a bit of confusion showing up on her face "I mean that's not hard of a task, but why do we need another horse?" she asked
"I know it's going to be a long journey! I want to bring Teles so that we can teleport back to the base quicker when we're done, I also don't want to leave Silvia alone for so long since we just brought her aboard, so 2 people can ride on 1 horse, which is why I just need one more!" I explained,
Rei understood where I was going and nodded, "Okay! you got it, though taming a horse will take a while, it might be days until I can find one for you." She warned
"Good, I need the time for Silvia to get a little more acquainted with us first anyway, she is still pretty shaken up from the current events ya know," I responded
"Alright then, I will see when I can return, then we will make the trip out to the city?"
"Yep, and I will make an exp machine to start changing the skeletons back," I confirmed.
"I-I just don't get it... this is a crazy goal you're trying to accomplish here, what makes you want to help so much? None of this was your problem to begin with, yet you keep performing these miracles... why?" Rei asked as she grabbed my shoulders staring at me with her dark pleading eyes.
I sighed and said "To be honest, I don't know, like I said before, I just feel obligated to do it, like it was my destiny, I made a promise to you during our trip to the desert didn't I? So this is part of my proof that I was truly serious..."
All of a sudden, before I could even react, Rei's arms wrapped around my neck bringing me close, I couldn't see her face, but I knew she was overjoyed to the point where she could cry. We stood in that position for a short while, Rei finally released me and said "Thank you! I will be back okay?"
I nodded and waved her off as she got on her skeleton horse and made her way to the forest.
I knew at this point, I had no need to go back, I had a goal, and this was just another step to completing it. As I was preparing to head back inside, I noticed a shadow appearing in front of me, yep, it was Mr.Doubt, but wait... something seems different.
So you really WERE serious about this 'DESTINY' of yours| He mocked
"Is it me, or have you gotten bigger???" I questioned
Thanks for noticing! I've been working out!| Mr.Doubt said |Being out and about without those pills slowing me down really did wonders for me|
Now of course Mr.Doubt was around my height normally, and although he wasn't THAT much bigger than usual, it was pretty easy to notice the difference.
"So what are you here for this time? Here to tell me I'm over my head here? That I won't be successful with my trip to Rei's home city?" I asked annoyed
Now I'm not saying your plan isn't foolproof...|
"But???"
Are you sure the skeletons are even still there? People could've killed them, or they could've died from the sunlight, and who's to say the survivors haven't abandoned the city to begin with!?!?|
I pondered what he said for a moment "Well it doesn't hurt to try, if there's one thing I know, is that there are ALWAYS survivors when a catastrophe happens!!!" I said proudly
Oh yeah! Like how there were survivors from your last "Accident"| Mr.Doubt said
I froze, starting to shake, I slowly turned to face Mr.Doubt "D-Don't... Bring.... THAT.... UP...." I whispered with rage.
Heh, woah there Pal, I guess that was too soon despite it being many years ago!| Mr.Doubt proceeded to laugh and disappear shortly afterward
I needed to collect myself, why did I all of a sudden remember that, no why would he bring that memory up!?!? I patted my face and walked back into my base, I still had one more thing I needed to do tonight....
