Things have been going pretty well for me, I was cured, taken in, and can continue working toward my dreams. I wouldn't precisely say everything is completely back to normal though, I may be able to hide my identity from the people of the village, but deep down I was still a monster. I gained some of their trust thanks to my friends, but sometimes I wonder if the villagers would still accept me if they knew I was a spider, but if Tak says I shouldn't, I'd better just do what I'm told here, I wouldn't want to get him in trouble.
Another thing that's been bugging me is the fact that my head feels so foggy of my past memories, you know before I got cursed to be a spider mob. The fact that I got Amnesia from all this is killing me, it's like you got an itch ya know? It's not like I just wanna remember my past for closure, but I also want to tell my friends about it, because I know it would benefit both of us here!
The urge to remember my past can really cloud my mind, to the point where I can hardly even work!!! I just need to clear my head, maybe I will take a break and go for a short walk or something...

As I stepped outside and walked past our base, I could see Takeo working on something, it was that strange cactus farm that was built up high in the air. I always thought it was kind of an eyesore, but pretty cool at the same time, though I never really learned what this automatic farm actually did. I guess after a while Takeo noticed me staring from afar because he started to look in my direction.
"Oh, hey Sylvie, what brings you here?" Takeo greeted me, Lately he gave me the nickname Sylvie, honestly I kinda like it! But that's not my main focus at the moment, though I should really ask more about this strangely constructed farm he has here!
"Say, Tak, What's that?" I asked pointing to the strange farm behind him.
"Oh, this? well, you see this is what I use to make my custom XP bottles!" he said
Takeo then turned his head, "Oh please! There isn't anything wrong with telling her about this! Stop giving me your two cents on everything!!!" He shouted under his breath at something that wasn't there, who was he talking to??? I better not ask for now, and try to change the subject.
"Xp bottles? Woah! Never knew you could make them like that!" I said impressed
Takeo turned back to me and replied "Yeah, this is kinda like my own recipe I invented, this is what I use to turn monsters back to their old selves ya know?"
I stopped and took in what he said for a moment. Then it hit me, it all makes sense now! This is how he was able to cure me of my mutation so easily, now of course Teles brought me up to speed about how xp can cause mobs to turn back to normal, but it doesn't happen instantly, its more of a slow process, I may look human now, but I still have these long spider legs on my back. (I can retract them to where you'd never know they were there) So I wonder if more xp is what I needed in order to get my memories back! After all, Teles told me about her past, so maybe the reason she was able to remember is that she continued to collect xp AFTER her human-like transformation, I need to test this for myself!!!
"Tak, I know this sounds sudden but, can I have some more xp?" I asked
"Hmm, I don't know, the process is pretty slow..." Takeo responded in an unsure way, I better give him a good excuse why I need it.
"It's been 2 weeks and I'm still having trouble remembering my past, I think this extra xp could help me get where I need!" I begged
Takeo began to think, pondering about what I just said, a few seconds later he turned to nothing and said "No no, she has a point..."
He then turned back to me and said "I guess I stopped giving you xp the second you turned back, if this really does work, it could be pretty valuable information, Here!"
I was then handed 15 custom xp bottles, I lit up looking him in the eyes.
"By the way, these aren't the splash kind, so you're gonna have to drink them like normal potions" Takeo explained
"Okay!" I responded, "Thank you!" I walked away with the bundle of xp bottles in my arms, I really hope this works!!!

A few days passed, and I almost finished drinking all the bottles of xp I was given, the potions tasted strange, like sparkly unflavored cactus juice, the taste wasn't unbearable, but I wouldn't drink it unless I had to. I've been taking 5 of these a day and I hate it!!!! However, it feels like my mind is really starting to clear up. I stared out into space in shock!!! I started to remember certain things of my past, and although it was mostly just when I was in the caves living as a spider, it was definitely a step in the right direction!
The next day I took some more Xp bottles from Takeo, and I continued to down these strange potions, a few more days passed, and after taking around 30 xp bottles, it all started to come to me, I might not remember EVERYTHING, but I finally understood all the important things that happened in my life. I got so excited I started to feel dizzy, I was in complete disbelief that I was able to solve my problems, I wanted to go and tell my friends everything! But when I looked out the window I noticed the sun was starting to set, I thought for a moment, but despite how I longed to tell my friends what I rediscovered, I'd better wait until morning.
I ran through the base and locked myself in my room right before the sun finished setting, I breathed a sigh of relief and blacked out onto my bed. "T-this is for the best...." I said under my breath.
Tomorrow will soon come, and I can easily tell everyone later, after all, Maybe I can remember even more the next day!
