Chapter 1 - Prologue

It was 3:00 PM, and my class was over, everyone was leaving the classroom, each of them casually chatting as they walked.

However I was by myself, practically invisible to the rest of the college, but I can't really complain, I was always sorta reserved, or shy as you may call it, so I'm not all that social.

However, I still come to class so that I can learn to be a programmer, cause nowadays computer work is the most common job.

I wouldn't say I was completely isolated though, for there is one guy at this school who is a friend of mine, and he's probably only my friend to this day because we have known each other since childhood.

Oh hey speak of the devil I can see him across the hall, walking toward my direction, it looks like he has something to tell me.

"Hey, Takeo! check it out!" his name was Stephen Axford, and this guy was my only real friend, he was honestly the only other guy there for me besides my family, though I always found it odd that he was a lot older than I was.

"Hmm? whats up Stephen" I replied

"Minecraft just released its latest update, it seemed pretty cool, wanna play it later?"

I was taken back a little by his question

"Wha-? Minecraft!?!? I haven't played that game in years." It's true I haven't played that sandbox game since version 1.10.

"Aw come on Takeo, it'll be fun, how often are we not completely busy with schoolwork!" Stephen said

"Alright alright fine." I gave in "Let's join a server at 6, does that work?" I planned

"works for me, I found this cool smp server online, I can give you a link to it, here!" Stephen showed me.

Once all that was over, I go to my dorms and watch TV for a few minutes, but something odd was on the news.

There have been reports about a strange supernatural computer virus going about, and it's been spreading for over a month, governments, or coders have so clue on how to get it removed.

"Weird I thought, and just when I was trying to use the PC soon, eh whatever," I thought "I'm just playing a game I already downloaded, it's not like I'm going to an illegal site or anything."

As I then spent an unhealthy amount of time trying to migrate my Minecraft account (because that's the new thing for some reason) I finally got into Minecraft, I called Stephen on my phone, and he too was ready to join the new server.

"Alright! Ready???" Stephen announced "Here we go- huh??? AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" Stephen screamed over the phone

"S-Stephen!?!? What's wrong!!!!?!?!" I quickly responded

While the commotion was going on, my PC started acting strange, like white electricity was sparking from it. "what is going on!?!?" I thought.

The next thing I knew the PC flashed a bright light that flooded my entire room, and I was knocked out possibly from a seizer.

Security ran into my dorm when they got reports of the blinding light, but when they went inside, no one was in there, without a single trace I was in the room, to begin with.

I woke up with a headache later, but I wasn't in my dorm no, I was... outside???

I was lying flat out on some grass, and I instantly arose and looked around.

There were trees around me, they didn't look squarish but mostly looked like oak trees you would find in real life. Also nearby were some pigs, but they too looked really realistic.

'What the heck is going on....' I thought as I walked around 'Am I dreaming? I have to be dreaming because I've never done drugs... or... drugs that weren't prescribed to me by the pharmacist, but those medications never cause me to hallucinate.' I spiraled as I tried to wake myself up

"....." "....." "...." "Nope not dreaming, ok ok, I prob just got moved from my dorms and.... no no that doesn't make sense either, let's see, the last thing I was doing before getting knocked out, was playing Mine-" suddenly it came to me.

I broke into a nervous sweat with a shocked sense of mindset, was I sent into the game? I was in denial, that makes no sense.... "WAIT DON'T TELL ME!!!!"

I walked up to one of the nearby trees and did what every player starting a new world would do.

I started punching it, after a couple of hard hits, the chunk of tree instantly shrank and began slowly floating on the ground.

As I kept my hand out, the wood instantly got pulled to my hand. I collected the block of wood into my inventory and the rest of the tree that wasn't punched continued to float in midair.

I stood in awe, not knowing how the heck I was able to do this, and proceeded to shout:

"HOLY ********** AM I ACTUALLY IN MINECRAFT!?!?!"I screamed, ".... yep, I'm definitely in Minecraft." I responded slightly annoyed. (My voice sounded different in this world too!)

This didn't look like the blocky Minecraft world I know and love. Things were completely different, and more realistic as I said earlier, but right now I don't have the time to question how I got here.

I need to do the basics, gather materials, and survive the night, because if there's one thing every MC player knows, monsters spawn at night, and I don't think I can respawn in this world if I die, and I'm not sticking around to find out.
