Kate woke up early in the morning, feeling conflicted about her feelings for Pond and her duties at the animal shelter. She knew she had to put her personal feelings aside and focus on her work at the animal shelter. Her bodyguards drove her to Eden, and she tried to mentally prepare herself for the day ahead. She couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that she was going to struggle without Pond's guidance, but she was determined to make it through the day.
As she entered Eden, Kate was greeted by the staff and introduced to the animals. She was surprised to see how much work needed to be done and felt a bit overwhelmed at first. But she kept telling herself that she had to push through and get the job done.
Kate started her work, taking care of the animals and feeding them. She found it challenging to handle some of the animals, but with help from the staff, she was able to manage. She felt a sense of pride for herself as she managed to get through the first day without Pond's guidance.
As she took a break from her work, Kate checked her phone and saw a message from Pond, asking how her day was going. She felt a flutter in her stomach as she replied to him, feeling both grateful and guilty for her feelings towards him. Kate knew she had to focus on her work and not let her personal life get in the way.
Suddenly, one of the staff members approached her with a playful grin on her face. "Hey Kate, did you hear about Pond and Pim's weekend getaway?" the staff member said teasingly. Kate rolled her eyes, feeling a twinge of jealousy, but she also knew that she couldn't let it get to her. "I'm sure they had a great time," she replied with a fake smile. "But I'm here to work, not gossip."

Meanwhile, Pond woke up early with a sense of excitement, eager to spend the day with Pim. He quickly got dressed and walked down the stair to Pim's bakery, where she was already hard at work preparing for the day ahead. As he walked in, he was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and Pond felt instantly at home.
Pim showed him around the bakery, introducing him to the various ingredients and tools they would be using throughout the day. She started by teaching him how to make a classic Thai dessert, mango sticky rice. She showed him how to carefully prepare the rice and mix it with coconut milk and sugar, then let him help slice the sweet, juicy mango to go on top. As they worked together, Pim shared stories of her childhood and her dreams for the future.
Next, Pim taught Pond how to make her signature croissants, which were flaky and buttery and oh-so-delicious. She showed him how to carefully fold the dough and layer in the butter, then let him roll out the dough and shape it into perfect little crescents. They chatted and laughed as they worked, their hands moving in perfect synchronicity.
As they worked, Pond couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. He was so happy to be spending the day with Pim, doing something he had never done before. He felt like he was learning new things not just about baking, but about life itself.
Pond and Pim enjoyed a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of the day, savoring each sip of the fresh coffee and every bite of Pim's delicious pastries. The warm aroma of the bakery and the soft background music added to the relaxing atmosphere. Pim smiled as she noticed how much Pond was enjoying her pastries, making a mental note to teach him more of her recipes.
As they sipped their coffee, Pond's eyes sparkled mischievously as he asked Pim, "So, what are we going to do tonight after we log off the game?" Pim playfully raised an eyebrow and replied, "Hmm, I don't know, maybe we can go out for a drink or two? Or maybe try some street food?" Pond nodded eagerly, "Yes, that sounds great! I heard about this street vendor who makes the best grilled squid. We should definitely try it."
Pim chuckled, "You and your grilled squid obsession. But sure, why not? I'm always up for trying new things." Pond grinned, "That's why I like you, you're always up for an adventure." They both laughed, enjoying each other's company.
Pim leaned in closer to Pond, her eyes glinting mischievously. "But before that, how about we continue our adventure in the game tonight? I heard there's a new dungeon that just opened, and I'm itching to explore it with you." Pond nodded, excitement visible in his eyes. "I heard about that too! Let's do it! We can finally show off our new skills and weapons to the rest of the party." They both laughed and finished their coffee, ready for the next adventure.
As they headed back to the bakery counter, Pim thought about how happy Pond made her feel. She had been struggling to run her bakery on her own and often felt lonely, but Pond's presence had brought light into her life. She couldn't help but feel grateful for having him in her life.
Pond felt the same way. He had been so focused on his work at the animal shelter and the game that he had forgotten how good it felt to simply enjoy someone's company. He realized how lucky he was to have found someone like Pim, who not only shared his interests but also had a kind and caring heart. As they started working again, they couldn't help but feel excited for their future adventures together.
As the day wore on, Pond helped Pim with various tasks around the bakery, including serving customers and cleaning up. He was happy to be of help and felt like he was really contributing to her business. As closing time approached, they said their goodbyes, promising to do it again soon. Pond left the bakery feeling grateful and full of joy.

As they logged into the game, Pond and his party were eager to embark on their next adventure. They speculated that it might be the last old god quest that would reward them with The 4th Ring - Drakthor, God of Fire and Destruction. Pond couldn't help but feel excited and nervous at the same time, knowing that the stakes were higher and the challenge would be tougher.
Anastasia then spoke up, "Guys, I was walking around the city last night, and I overheard two NPCs talking about a secret quest that only the bravest adventurers could complete. Apparently, it's called the 'Fire and Brimstone' quest, and it leads to the great volcano of Drakthor, where the God of Fire and Destruction awaits."
Pond's party members were intrigued and excited about the possibility of obtaining the powerful 4th ring. They joked and teased each other about the adventure that awaited them, especially the new couple, as they seemed so happy together.
Xiao Ming then chimed in with a dirty joke, "Hey Pond, if you can't handle the heat, stay out of the volcano," causing the group to burst out laughing.
Palm then teased Pond and Pim, "Looks like Pond's not home last night, and now he's taking Pim on a long weekend. What are you two lovebirds planning to do, huh?"
Pond blushed and chuckled, "We haven't decided yet, but I'm sure it'll be something fun and adventurous."
Pim playfully punched him on the arm, "Don't give them any ideas, Pond."
The group continued to joke and tease each other, enjoying each other's company and the excitement of their upcoming adventure. Pond couldn't help but feel grateful for his friends, knowing that they had his back no matter what.
The party continued on their quest, their footsteps echoing throughout the cavernous tunnels of the great volcano of Drakthor. As they made their way through the dimly lit passages, they couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for what was to come.
"Hey, guys," said Xiao Ming, breaking the silence. "What's your favorite food? Mine's definitely spicy Sichuan hotpot."
"I'm with you there," replied Palm. "But I also love a good bowl of pho."
Pim chimed in, "I'm more of a sweets person myself. Pastries and cakes are my weakness."
As they continued to discuss their favorite foods, Pond couldn't help but think about the pastries that he and Pim had enjoyed earlier that day.
The conversation then turned to music and movies, and they shared their opinions on different genres and artists. "Have you guys seen the new superhero movie that just came out?" asked Anastasia.
The party's journey to the inner sanctum of the volcano was filled with obstacles, including a river of lava that they had to cross using makeshift bridges. They also encountered powerful fire elementals that relentlessly attacked them. With their skills and teamwork, they managed to overcome these challenges and continued deeper into the volcano.
As they approached the inner sanctum, the air grew hotter, and the ground shook with increasing intensity. They could sense that they were getting closer to their goal. Suddenly, a giant creature appeared before them, blocking their path. It was the boss monster, the embodiment of Drakthor, God of Fire and Destruction.
The boss was enormous, with scales as red as molten lava and eyes that glowed like fire. Its fiery breath was so intense that the party could feel their skin burning just being near it. The boss's attacks were powerful and relentless, and it was clear that this was going to be an epic battle.
The party used all of their skills and teamwork to fight against the boss. They summoned their servant beasts, Gusty, Grizzly, and Fizzy, and used their chained skill combo to deal massive damage. The boss fought back with its powerful attacks and even summoned minions to aid it.
The party members stood together, fighting bravely as they faced the powerful boss. Pim used her sharpshooting skills to hit the boss in the eye, causing it to roar in pain. Xiao Ming expertly dodged the boss's attacks, while Palm used his telekinetic abilities to control boulders and throw them at the boss. Anastasia used her healing powers to keep the party members alive as they fought on.
As the battle raged on, Pond encouraged his friends and complimented their skills. "Great job, Xiao Ming! Keep it up!" he shouted as he watched his friend expertly dodge another attack. "Palm, watch your health!" he warned as he saw his brother take a hit. Anastasia gave words of encouragement to the team, reminding them that they were strong and could defeat the boss together.
Pim saw an opening and took a shot at the boss's mouth, causing it to stumble and give her the chance to strike a fatal hit. She quipped, "Looks like the boss had bad breath!" which caused the party to laugh and momentarily forget the danger they were in.
The boss retaliated with a massive attack, but the party members managed to dodge and keep their footing. They continued to chip away at the boss's health, moving in coordinated attacks and focusing on their strengths. Finally, with one last strike, the boss fell, and the party cheered in victory.
As they caught their breath, Pond exclaimed, "We did it! We obtained The 4th Ring - Drakthor, God of Fire and Destruction!" The party members high-fived each other and congratulated themselves on their victory. They shared a moment of celebration, relieved that the battle was over and they had come out victorious.
----------
As they made their way back to town, the party members discussed the battle and shared jokes and lighthearted banter. "I can't believe we took down a boss that big!" exclaimed Palm, grinning from ear to ear. "And Pim, that was one heck of a shot!" praised Xiao Ming. "You guys did great!" said Anastasia, beaming with pride. Pond added, "We make a great team, don't we?" and everyone agreed.
They also discussed what to do with the newly acquired 4th ring. Xiao Ming suggested that they give it to Palm, as the fire skill from the Drakthor servant beast could complement his Time Manipulator skill and deal more damage to the target. Palm was excited at the prospect of using the Drakthor servant beast, but it was already late at night, and he decided to keep it for the next day.
As they said their goodbyes, Pond couldn't resist teasing Pim about their plans for the night. "So, what's on the menu for tonight, Chef Pim?" he asked with a smirk.
Pim rolled her eyes and playfully swatted him on the arm. "Oh, you know, just cooking up something special," she replied coyly.
Anastasia chuckled at their banter. "Looks like the lovebirds have some plans tonight," she teased, earning a grin from Xiao Ming and Palm.
Pond grinned and wrapped an arm around Pim's shoulders. "You know it," he said, pulling her in for a quick kiss. "I can't wait to see what you have in store for me tonight."
Pim blushed but couldn't help but smile at Pond's enthusiasm. "You'll just have to wait and see," she teased, earning a chuckle from the rest of the party.
As they parted ways, the party members couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. They had worked together to overcome the challenges that came their way, and they had grown stronger both individually and as a team. As they looked ahead to their next adventure, they knew that they would face even greater challenges, but they were ready for whatever lay ahead.
