~Naya Lucas~
I stood at the center of the pack Hall, my heart beating fast with anticipation.
The moon was full, and the air was thick with energy. This was supposed to be the night of my engagement to Alpha Orion of the Silver Moon pack, the night when I would become the Luna of the pack. But instead, I was about to face what was worse.
As the Alpha stepped forward, I tried to steady my nerves. But the look in his eyes told me everything I needed to know.
"You do not belong to this pack," he declared, his voice cold and hard. "You are a lone wolf, a rogue. You have no place here. I, Orion Derrick, reject you, Naya Lucas, as my mate."
The words hit me like a physical blow, and I staggered back, my eyes wide with shock. I had thought that my alliance with the Alpha two weeks ago was a sign of acceptance, that I had finally found a place to belong. But it seemed that it was all just a cruel joke.
The pack around me erupted into laughter, mocking me for my foolishness. I could feel their eyes on me, judging me, and I wanted to curl up and disappear.
I could almost hear the whispers behind my back.
"She must have done something wrong."
"Maybe she wasn't good enough."
"No one wants to mate with a lone wolf."
I gritted my teeth, determined not to let their words get to me. I was a lone wolf, and I had always been strong. I would not let the Alpha's rejection break me.
But I refused to show any weakness. I lifted my chin, meeting the Alpha's gaze with defiance.
"You proclaimed me as your Luna a week ago," I said, my voice trembling slightly. "You can't just take it back."
The Alpha sneered at me, his eyes flashing with anger.
"I can do whatever I want," he said. "And I choose to reject you. You are not fit to be the Luna of this pack. You will never be one of us."
The words stung, but I refused to let him see how much they hurt. Instead, I turned on my heel and walked away, my head held high in my white long dress. My heels clanked against the floor.
As I made my way out of the pack territory, I could hear the pack still laughing and jeering behind me. I felt tears pricking at the corners of my eyes, but I refused to let them fall.
I was a lone wolf, a rogue. I had always been on my own, and I would continue to be. But one thing was for sure - I would never forget the humiliation of this night. And I would never forgive Alpha Orion for what he had done to me.
I needed to get away. Away from the pack, away from the Alpha, away from everything that reminded me of the rejection I had faced. And so I left, heading towards the city, where I hoped to find some solace.
The lights of the city twinkled in the distance, beckoning me forward.
As I walked down the busy streets, I felt a thrill of excitement. This was a new world, full of possibilities. I could be anyone I wanted to be, and do anything I wanted to do.
The streets were busy with people, their faces anonymous and uncaring. I felt like a ghost, invisible among the throngs of humanity.
I wandered into a bar, looking for a drink to ease the ache in my heart. The place was dark and smoky, with loud music blaring from the speakers. It was crowded, and the air was thick with the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke. I made my way to the counter.
The bartender looked me up and down, his eyes lingering on the wolf tattoo on my right wrist.
"What can I get for you?" he asked, his voice gruff.
"A whiskey, please," I replied.
I ordered a drink, trying to ignore the curious glances of the other patrons. I felt like an outsider, but I refused to let that stop me. I was here to make a new life for myself, and I wasn't going to let anyone stand in my way.
It burned as it went down, but it felt good to feel something other than the pain of rejection.
As the night wore on, I found myself mingling with the humans around me. They were different from the pack - open and friendly, and unafraid to share their stories with a stranger. I felt like I belonged, at least for a little while.
And then I saw him. He was a tall, and handsome man, with eyes that sparkled in the dim light of the bar.
He was sitting a few seats down from me, his eyes fixed on me with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine. I could feel my heart racing as I met his gaze, and I knew that I had to talk to him.
I slid over to his seat, feeling a rush of excitement as I struck up a conversation.
"Hey," I said, trying to sound casual. "Mind if I sit here?"
He looked up at me, his eyes scanning me from head to toe. I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks as he smiled at me.
"Sure, I'm Jake."
"Naya," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
We talked and laughed, and I felt myself getting lost in his presence.
We danced, his body pressed up against mine, and I felt a stirring of desire. I knew it was dangerous to let my guard down like this, but I couldn't resist the pull of his warmth and strength.
Before I knew it, we were stumbling out of the bar, his arm around my waist. I knew it was a mistake, but I didn't care. I was lost in the moment, the thrill of something new and exciting.
We made our way to his apartment, fumbling with the keys and giggling like teenagers. As we staggered inside, he turned to me, his eyes dark with desire.
"You're beautiful," he whispered, his hands on my hips.
I felt a surge of desire, the heat of his touch made my body ignite with a spark. I knew that this was a bad idea, that I was risking everything by getting involved with a human. But I couldn't resist the temptation.
He held me close, his arms around my waist, and I felt a sense of belonging I had never felt before.
His soft lips touched mine, and I inhaled the sweet scent of his breath. We started kissing. It was intense and electric, and I began losing control.
He gently swirls my body against the wall and thrust his hard cock from behind. A soft moan escaped my lips, making me forget all my worries at that moment.
It was passionate and wild, and I felt a connection that I had never felt before. From the wall, we ended up doing it on the bed.
When it was over, I lay there, panting and sweating, my heart thumping in my chest. The man lay beside me, his breath coming in short gasps.
For a moment, we just lay there, silent and content. And then, with a sudden jolt, I realized what I had done. I had slept with a human I barely knew, something that was forbidden for a werewolf.
But it was too late now. I had crossed a line, and there was no going back. As the man beside me drifted off to sleep, I lay there, wide awake, wondering what the consequences of my actions would be.
I lay in his arms, knowing that I was playing with fire. But I couldn't bring myself to care.
For one night, I was free of the weight of rejection, free to indulge in the pleasures of the flesh. And at that moment, nothing else mattered...
