"is it really okay? Informing the enemies of our plan beforehand could give them enough time to prepare themselves".
From atop the edge of the mountain, Getha faced Sango who had his view focused on the city he had just paid a visit to.
With the help of Sango, Getha was able to partially get over the death of her tribe by prioritizing getting stronger and taking revenge on those that killed them.
"worry less about your enemies and more on how to strengthen yourself. Besides, I have my reasons for informing them first".
About hours ago, Sango made his way into the town at the dead of the night, to the city lord to inform him of what was going to become of the city in a year to come.
The barrier he casted over the city walls like he said, would prevent the coming in and outgoing of any living organism.
Any merchants, social workers, and other city lords that have a pending visitation pass to the city will be restricted from making use of their pass as the city is no longer accessible.
This is sure to spark an outrage and concerns when they have no way of getting in or out of the city, not even through telepathic means of communication or teleportation.
Presumably, if the city is under the control of any king or emperor, any of such ruler that has a tight hold on multiple cities thus crowning him as a manifestation of what a leader entails.
Such a person is bound to be alerted of what is happening in the city, and will be tasked with sending down forces for investigative process.
That is what Sango is after. Exactly how that leader will handle the problems involving the city, and see to it that the barrier he casted does not last a month much less a year.
If they are successful in breaking down his barrier in such a short period of time, Sango will have a vague idea of what he is dealing with by analyzing the might it took for them to bring down his barrier.
His rationality tells him that they won't succeed in bringing down the barrier. That is, if the story Getha told him turns out to be true.
If according to her story, the ten Gods that were mentioned in the story are indeed an embodiment of the high rankers in LORDS, Sango is certain that they will never be able to break free from his barrier no matter what they do.
The only one's who will be capable of doing so, are the other nine Gods who are also the embodiment from the nine high rank players.
But if reverse is the case, and he or the nine high rankers are not related to the Gods of this world, then the humans or as the Gods says, the mortals. They might have a chance at breaking through the barrier.
From Sango's point of view, this can be considered as a gamble to discern what this world's level ranking is, and where he would be ranked.
"more importantly, I already gave the lord of the city my word that you will be attacking them in a year's time. I intend to honor that by having you ready before then".
Sango turned his gaze away from the distanced city and focused it on Getha who was standing beside him.
"show me what you have".
He had his two hands folded behind his back as he stood before her like a mountain does to one's path to success.
In order to impress Sango, Getha started her movements by showing him fighting stance that could not even be classified as basics.
"what was that".
His question sounded more like a confusion at what Getha just demonstrated before him.
"you said to show you what I had, and I did just that".
Sango tilted his head left and right then stood it still for a while with his eyes concentrated on Getha.
"i meant your status. Show me your status so I can see what your attributes are and know in what ways you are lacking behind".
Like he had earlier done, Getha also tilted her head in confusion at what Sango had just said.
"what is a status".
Sango could see the blatant confusion written all over Getha's face as she asked him the question.
"you don't have a status".
Her expression once again made Sango to start having concerns about the kind of world he has been brought to.
"a blue like panel that displays your current strength level by simply saying status".
She looked at Sango again like she does not understand what language he is speaking when so far, she has been able to understand him just fine.
"if you don't have a status, how do you know what your combat power is".
A status is there to help monitor a players leveling up process through the killing of living beings to extract their experience points.
Getha telling Sango now that she has no idea what a status means, can be interpreted as her being unable to level up.
If that is the case, Sango wonders how the people of this world would know what level they are in, and precisely how strong they have become when compared to others.
"i haven't really trained before so I don't know how that is done".
"little Goblin girl, we are going to have a problem on our hands if you don't have a status to present to me".
Sango is a player who trained in the ways of the players by leveling up and making use of equipment to give him an advantage during his earlier days as a player.
The tactics and combat strategies that he has with him can only be utilized when one knows the full extent of their attributes.
Without that, he will not be able to know what her limits are or what she is capable of doing in her current stage.
He is not even confident that making her go out of her way to kill a living thing would increase her combat level, so where is he supposed to start from?
