The continuous air that blew about in the form of gas providing oxygen and other components turned frigid after the glacier spell was cast by Sango.
The gaseous state it was in was forcefully changed into a solid state in the form of snow dropping down like cold hard blocks, filling the arena grounds like a climate change not deciding to abide by the rules of the seasons.
"Spell cast, Ice Spear!".
Using the glacier's advantage, Sango cast another spell with its context taken out from the Grimoire that was floating before him.
The snow that was dropping to the arena ground abruptly came to a halt. Gathering itself from several sides and making its shape out in the form of spears.
In no time, the spears were done forming with the tip strictly sharpened and all aimed at Erica from all sides.
Erica not drowning herself in panic slowly raised her right hand stretching it forward.
The handle of a sword formed in her stretched-out palm with the rest of its body is similar to how a long sword looks like.
Still maintaining her current position and without moving an inch, Erica swung the long sword consecutively in multiple directions.
The force behind the swing created waves of slashes that ended up cutting down the ice Spear she was surrounded by.
The loud cheers rang out in the background echoing through the arena grounds with applause on how Erica was able to swiftly and easily deal with an attack that would have incapacitated the majority of the players.
"Are you looking down on me? Pointing such low-level attacks at me!".
She unlike the rest of them was not pleased with Sango's actions knowing that such an attack would not work on her and still using it anyway.
"don't mind me. That was the opening act for our duel to commence, what do you think".
"I think it's so unlike you!".
Erica with the long sword in her hand latched at Sango, covering the wide distance between them with only a blink of an eye.
From above she swung her red vibrant long sword down on him, releasing waves of fury that scarred the ground when it made contact with it.
Sango hastily moved away from where he stood and in the next instant, he appeared beside Erica who was floating in the sky.
Sango clenched his right fist as hard as he could and thrust it out in her direction, aiming for her face.
Erica was quick to change the trajectory of her long sword, bringing it over to her side and using it to guard against Sango's fist.

The sound that came out from the collision of Erica's long sword and Sango's clenched fist was as though two metal-like giants had bumped into each other with the remaining sound reverberating through the barrier that had been set in place to protect the multitude of the crowd from being harmed in their onslaught.
Neither of them was shaken by the collision, each standing their ground in midair with the long sword and fist still in contact.
"I see you are starting to take this very seriously!".
Erica said with a light smile appearing on her face.
"what made you think I wouldn't do that in the first place!".
"Because you love me".
Erica pushed away Sango's fist and moved further back, creating a distance between them.
Sango smirked softly revealing his inward dimples.
Sango and Erica; are two different people with two different lifestyles.
In the game, Erica is a stunning beauty at the top of LORDS, a successful player that all males desire to lord over.
Sango; is the manifestation of what a woman seeks in a man. Charismatic, alluring, fierce and confident.
The two of them are celebrities praised by gamers at large with others envying the lifestyle they have.
They are also considered as the polar opposite of each other. Ice and water, light and darkness, eternal rivals, two entities that should not be placed in the same room unless they want it destroyed.
That is their in-game personality. Their real-life characteristics however would surprise many when they are told.
In reality, Sango and Erica are a couple, engaged even and well on their way to planning their eternal life together.
"Spell Cast; Fireball!".
With the Grimoire following Sango about, floating by his side and not leaving it at any time.
He mentally flipped open to several pages of where the spell fireball was stored in.
When he got there, Sango chanted the spell out and in response to him, five fireballs the size of a football appeared at his back.
Sango had his right hand pointing forward as a form of command for the five fireballs to attack Erica.
Erica hastily conjured up a defensive type barrier shaped in the form of a white shield and stood gallantly, blocking the fireball from getting to her.
"do not think that because I love you means I will go easy on you!".
Sango had left where he was standing and already closed the distance between him and Erica, moving past the shield and appearing at her back.
He coats his hand in black flames and hurls it at Erica from behind, successfully landing a punch to her spine before she had the time to react.
Erica was about to be sent flying away but not without making her move on him.
When his fist touched her spine, she knew she would not have the time to defend against it. So what she did was swing her sword backwards, creating a slashing wave that hit Sango right in the chest.
The two were sent flying away simultaneously landing abrasively on the ground and forming a crater that puffed up the dust into the atmosphere.
Another round of echo rang out from the spectators who were enjoying the show that was being displayed by Sango and Erica.
Their fight was one that they would never have had the pleasure of seeing if it wasn't for the unfortunate fate that has befallen the world of LORDS.
