Rebirth: My Reclusive Husband Helps Me Get Revenge!

“An illegitimate child will always be an outsider.” For Yu Lixue, life in the Yu family was one of endless humiliation. As the unwanted daughter with no mother to defend her, she was treated like a pawn, used, ignored, and discarded. Her talents—her paintings, her songs—were stolen by her stepmother and conniving half-sister, who claimed them as their own. Her life was a series of shadows and silence, living under their lies. But when her half-sister fled an arranged marriage with Mo Ran, a powerful but reclusive man, the family forced Lixue to take her place. Once again, her wishes were disregarded. Her marriage to Mo Ran was cold, distant—another prison she had no choice but to endure. Until the night she died in a mysterious accident, her pleas for justice buried along with her. Yet fate gave her a second chance. Reborn into the same world that betrayed her, Lixue returns with a vow: she will take back everything they stole—her art, her voice, her freedom. And when she reenters her marriage with Mo Ran, he surprises her with a proposition: he will help her get revenge against those who wronged her. But Lixue is wary. Why is this man, who barely showed her any warmth before, now offering to stand by her side? As they plot against the Yu family, Lixue realizes that Mo Ran has his own reasons for revenge. Their alliance begins to blur the line between ally and enemy, and she questions whether he’s truly on her side or if he has his own hidden agenda. In a world filled with deceit and betrayal, Yu Lixue must decide: will she risk trusting her husband, or will she forge her own path to reclaim what’s hers, no matter the cost? Excerpt: Lixue stared down at the steaming bowl of soup on the table, blinking in surprise. Mo Ran placed it before her with a steady hand, his usual calm expression softened just slightly by a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. She tried to catch his gaze, but he’d already turned away, busying himself with the teapot. “Why are you…?” she murmured, glancing between the bowl and him, her voice trailing off. He looked up, meeting her eyes with a hint of amusement. “Why am I what?” She fumbled for words, her cheeks warming. “Why are you…being so nice to me?” A small smile played on his lips, barely there but just enough to leave her heart fluttering. “Is it so strange for a husband to be kind to his wife?” She opened her mouth to reply, but nothing came out. The Mo Ran she remembered from her past life had been as cold as winter, never sparing her a second glance. This new version of him, warm and considerate, left her feeling…confused. “Eat,” he said, his voice soft. “You didn’t eat much at breakfast.” She nodded, taking the spoon with a slight tremor in her fingers. The soup was rich, comforting—something she would have loved as a child. The warmth of it melted away a part of her guardedness, leaving her strangely vulnerable. As she set down her spoon, she glanced at him again, still puzzled. “What’s gotten into you, Mo Ran?” “…” “Let’s just say I want to spoil you my darling..”

Cloud Sea City, Purple Mountain, in the canyon of the Golden Bamboo Forest. Overlapping milky white clouds surrounded a dark green bamboo forest, as far as the eye can see, a pale! The color of the whole house is light yellow, and it is estimated that it has a long age! It is surrounded by flowers and many herbs whose names are unknown! Not far ahead on the right there is a turquoise pond, the water in the pond is crystal clear, the water surface is covered by large lotus leaves, the blooming lotus flowers swaying in the wind. In the middle of the pond there is an octagonal pavilion with an ancient yellow flavor! In the center of the pavilion there is a small round table! On the table there is a teapot, two silver teacups! The pot emits a strong fragrance! It was soothing to smell! There were two people standing in the pavilion! One was an old man in black clothes, with long silver hair and a thin face! He looked haggard, but his eyes were radiant. His hands were behind his back, but his eyes were staring straight ahead without blinking, his face was heavy! Behind him stood a teenager wearing a plain white Zhongshan suit! This teenager looks average! Temperament is outstanding. Flat head, slender and lean body, sword eyebrows slanting, a pair of Danfeng eyes, upright nose. Thick lips, but, unfortunately, the face is pale! If it is more rosy, but not lost as a sunny teenager! At this time, he stood with his hands on either side of his thighs, very respectfully standing behind that old man! The old man gave a long sigh, then slowly turned around, kindly looked at the young man, after a moment of silence, said heavily: "Xiang'er, to go to the university to study all aspects of the formalities have been implemented for you to handle, you go, study well is it! The young man heard, face did not change color, opened his mouth and said softly: "Thank you seven uncles" The old man smiled faintly, reached out and patted the young man's shoulder, sighed, and then said in a serious tone: "Xiang'er, followed the seventh uncle here to live a quiet and uneventful five years, indeed, you have suffered a lot of aggression, now, you have grown up, your parents see you now living a good life, I think in the nine springs, will also rest in peace" The young man heard, the original white face suddenly a distortion, eyes swept through a burst of grief, he hung his head down, his face full of painful expression. When he raised his head, his face had returned to its original state of silence like water. But did not say a word.

The jungle and the kid

One warm summer day I was in the school library with the rest of my class choosing a book to read, when I noticed a book that was about to fall from the shelf. It was called ‘Jungle Adventures’. I sat down in a corner and started to read when something strange happened. I was getting sucked into the book. I screamed and tried to get out but the book wouldn’t let me go and before I knew it I was in a jungle full of monkeys. A huge monkey stopped me. “Jason” he said, “The snakes have taken over the Monkey Museum and are holding the magic pot that gives the power to rule over our land. We need your help because only a human can stop them.” Then the big monkey handed me a silver teapot. “You can use this if you get caught. Pour two drops of magical tea and you will be free”. I wrapped the teapot carefully in my jumper and started my journey to the Monkey Museum. The Monkey Museum was made of rock and on the walls were carvings of monkeys and weird hieroglyphics. Inside the big cold museum were paintings, pots and lots of interesting artefacts. Suddenly I heard snakes hissing loudly and slithering through the darkness I saw the big snake talking with lots of little snakes. Soon they all disappeared into the darkness and there was nothing but darkness in the hallways. Suddenly a light turned on and the snakes appeared again. This time the gigantic snake saw me with his evil red eyes and I ran for the door. I pushed it open and quickly entered another room. It wasn’t cold any more but it was muggy, I started to sweat. I looked around and there in the middle of the floor was a golden pot with a monkey etched on it. Excitedly I grabbed the pot and ran down the stairs. I was not quick enough because the snakes were right there. The snake wrapped tightly around me choking me till my face turned blue. Then, wrapping his tail around my feet he slithered across the floor not caring about my cuts and bruises. Finally he sat me down on an uncomfortable metal chair from which I could not get up. Shortly after the snakes left due to some noise, and I was left alone in the muggy room stuck to a chair with the golden pot. Suddenly I remembered about the teapot. I unwrapped it from my jumper and poured two drops to the ground and “boom!” I was on my feet and out of the museum with the pot. I ran to the monkey and handed him the pot. He gave me a medal and sent me back to the school library. There I was with the book in my hand. I jumped up and placed the book on the shelf and walked outside to play with my friends for the last ten minutes of lunch.
