The fluffy white clouds sailed a distance away from Venera's eyes like a mass of cotton candy swimming in the baby blue sky.
It was then that she realized that she was back in the world of the dream. And this world in the dream is as sunny as ever, the exact opposite of the sky in the Eternal Night Empire.
A breeze silently blew by, rusting the leaves of the coconut trees up above as the little girl walked on the beach with both of her little feet bare. Not far away from her current position was a man in red sitting down on a large version of a rocking chair beside the one in a smaller version.
The man closed his eyes and seemed to be asleep. His long, black hair was pinned behind his ear and hung down his shoulders like a waterfall. His eyelashes were long and black, and his ivory-white skin was glowing under the dazzling light of the sun. He looked so very beautiful—almost unreal, like a dream.
