"Wh-"
While Sarah looks at me confused, I just tell her it's nothing. While she still looks at me suspiciously, she goes back to listening to the principals speech. I look at my hand that's still shaking. It took me a couple of minutes to finally calm down. The pure helplessness that washed over was me was almost unbearable. It was suffocating. After I fully calmed down, I heard a click inside my head. While at the time I just thought it was me imagining it, so I brushed it off. What I would later find out was I unlocked more of my ancient human bloodline.
The rest of the orientation was boring, finally we arrived at the club recruitment. Clubs from drama, martial arts, gaming, sports, and more filled the auditorium. Most people believe joining clubs have no merit. What people don't know is that clubs hold most of the power inside the school. The main reason for this is because of the point system. The school hosts multiple competitions, tournaments, and events with points as a prize. These points can be used for multiple purposes. It gives the person with the points a kind of temporary authority inside the school. Large clubs have more points so more authority. Of course they are exceptions to this, the disciplinary committee and student council. They are a smaller group however they earn more points. They also have some permanent authority inside the school. The question is what club do I want to join. After thinking about it the night before, I decided not to join any club. Instead I decided to put my money to use. I plan to buy multiple clubs, this will let me use the club's influence and also keep me out of the spotlight. So the entire time I just watched Sarah try out a few clubs until she settled with a role playing club. The rest of the time I was investigating the clubs and deciding what ones are worth buying. The orientation finished at 8:30 PM. Just like that 3 days passed and it was the first day of the new semester. With the school uniform on me and Sarah start to head to our first class. The first class was Psychology at 8:00 AM, then Universal Law at 9:30 AM and lastly was Economics at 2:00 PM. Each class was 2 hours long, totaling 6 hours every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Then on Tuesdays we have Biology at 9:00 AM, English at 11:30 AM, Calculus at 4:00 PM and Battle Practice at 6:30 PM. While most of these are self explanatory, some aren't. Universal Law is us studying the Law of the Federation. Battle Practice are either individual or group battles. The Federation is the global power that regulates the economy, laws, and punishments throughout the world. That said I have some suspicion that it's connected to the magical side of the world. I am brought out of my thoughts when we arrive at my first class. The class was on the smaller side of around 30 students. The teacher was an old pale bald man, with dull brown eyes. The students were talking to one another while I sat down at the empty seat near the window. Sarah who was less than thrilled to be here sat in the back of the class. When the beep rang, the teacher stood up and said,
"Welcome new and old students. This is Psychology 101. I will be your teacher for this class, you may call me Tim or Mr.Tim. In this course you will learn the about some psychological disorders, states of consciousness, about the Id, Ego, and SuperEgo. We will also be considering the idea of Nature Vs Nurture. Today I want you to answer the question what's more important. Nature or Nurture? Remember their are no wrong answers so try your best." While we took out paper and a writing utensil, I started to think about what would be more important. After thinking for half the class I began to write down my answer. I wrote,
"I believe Nurture is more important than Nature. People develop habits and tendencies from their parents, they learn, they can develop disorders from high stress or a traumatic experience. Nurture influences ourselves more than the genetics in our body….."
While others stopped writing around 10 minutes before the class ended, I only finished when the class ended. I turned in my paper and went to my next class. My next class was the Universal Law class. The class was crowded with over 200 people. The teacher was a middle aged man with black hair and eyes. His black hair had strands of grey hair near the ears. He was a handsome person with his gold rimmed glasses, and cane he used for walking just added to his gentleman appearance. While people were still trickling into class I sat down near a window. While sitting down at his desk he clicked his computer a couple of times and a 3D holographic image appeared. The teacher than said,
"Hello I am Dr.King, I will be your Law Professor. I would like you all to either address me as Dr.King or Professor King. Today we will be watching the establishment of the Federation. It also includes the main 5 components. These 5 components are still used today and are considered to be what defines the Federation.
That's all from me, now let's all begin."
After the Professor was done talking he clicked a few things and the 3D holographic image began to move. The image become what looked like a conference room at a high rise building. The windows showed a breathtaking view of a prosperous city. The conference room was filled with people of different ethnicities, genders, and statuses. While people were arguing about someone a man with white hair and blue eyes soaked his fist on the table. The rest of the people started to become quieter and quieter. Finally the man said,
"We can't keep going on like this, something must be done. They have started to go out of control."
"I agree Kai, they have crossed the line. Sadly we can't do anything."
"…"
"…"
"…"
"No, we can, we can do something. Somebody or something needs to be created to regulate everything."
"While you are right Kai, we don't have enough power or influence to achieve this."
"Maybe we don't have enough right now, however we can ask others to join. We don't have the qualifications to talk to them. We just need to find people who share our ideas that do have the qualifications."
"Kai you don't mean…"
"That's unimportant right now, what's more important are brainstorming rules we can enforce."
"Hmm, how about all crime recognized by the universal legal system we create will be severely punished according a universal standard.
"Okay that's a good start. Anything else we can come up with?"
"A group of strong individuals called the Enforcers. These people hunt down wanted criminals or make arrests on dangerous individuals."
"Okay I like that Ryan."
"How about we give citizens the power to arrest wanted people for a reward."
"Hmm, so a bounty system?"
"Yes a bounty system."
"We also need something to distinguish people, maybe a tier or badge system."
"Yes that's a good idea Theo."
"We should also make a council, this would help for security and stability."
"That's a great idea."

They continued to refine their ideas and made them more practical. These simple ideas are what made the Federation.
"Now that is all done students. I want all of you to write down your comprehension on what you just watched."
What everybody I knew why the Federation was created. It seems that the Federation was created to keep the magical side of the world in check.
Unknown to even me at the time a few other people came to the same conclusion as me.
