* Raon POV *
The suns rays pierce through the curtains in my room signaling the start of the day. I tiredly get out of bed and head downstairs. While I'm walking downstairs Ron appears beside me and briefs me on new developments. The bills have all been paid, ingredients and the materials have been ordered. Everything is expected to arrive tomorrow. Ingredients for today have been bought at the local market. I arrive at the dinning hall, while the table was full of food. I open an hologram projection and look at the information for the Shallow Hotel and the Fire and Ice towers. The Shallow Hotel is a Mortal 5 Star hotel. This would be the highest ranking hotel in the area. The rankings for properties would be Mortal 1-5, Astral 1-5, then Outer 1-5. Most properties are unranked and a property reaching Mortal 5 is a rare occurrence. Next would be the Fire and Ice towers. They are a newer building and their main function is to be a headquarters of a company. The tower has 110 floors in total, with 50 floors on each tower. Then 10 floors that connect between both towers. At the moment all 100 regular floors have been leased out to companies for 100,000-500,000 Astral Coins a month. It makes around 15,000,000 Astral Coins each month however it takes 10,000,000 Astral Coins to keep up. It makes around 5,000,000 Astral Coins in profit each month, it really makes you wonder why they would sell it for so low. I was able to buy it for 5,000,000 that is the same as a months profit. That price included all the properties, not just the Fire and Ice towers. They are unranked at the moment as they are still relatively new. Property rankings are important for multiple reasons. The higher the rank the more people trust and use the establishment. It also gives little perks like discounts on supplies for the property or more publicly with advertisements. Of course there are more perks and benefits.
I'm brought out of my thoughts when Stephanie walked inside the dinning hall. She was wearing a pink nightgown and still seemed tired. She either ignored me or just didn't notice me and sat down.
"Well good morning to you too."
"Eep! S-sorry master I didn't see you there."
"No it's alright, I wasn't really thinking about that."
"Huh? What do you mean Master?"
"Well I was just wondering when you got so bold."
"Huh? What do you—
…
KYAA!!"
"Well I guess she just want aware of what she was wearing. I must say she was surprisingly fast for someone with a weak physique."
"Master please remember to eat. The property can wait a little."
"Alright Ron I'll eat first."
"Thank you Master."
I put the property matters behind me for a moment and began to eat. Half an hour later when I was almost finished Stephanie finally came back to the dinning hall. This time however she was wearing a white dress. Her cheeks were still flushed and red. She seemed to outright ignore me this time and start to eat. I finished my food a couple of minutes later. I went back to looking at the data of the properties I had bought. The Shallow hotel could be a good place to get me known. While the Fire and Ice towers would be better for a main headquarters for the company I'm going to make. Now I need to prepare for the eventual chaos from the change in rule of no violence. Improving my strength in a short amount of time would be hard as increasing tiers are harder than increasing my stats. I would need to either inherit someone's legends or create my own legend.
Legends are multiple factors combined like reputation, strength, feats, and titles. The higher and more complete your legend, the higher in tiers you can go. Another option would be to inherit someone else's legend. This would give you strength faster and would help you branch off into your own legend. While inheriting someone's legend has its benefits it also has cons. If you inherit someone legend then you are constrained by that legend. The actions you take have to fit in with their legend. Of course eventually you will be able to break free from this constraint after you reach where the legend ends. I don't plan on going this route, instead I plan on forging my own legend. I don't have much reputation anywhere and I don't have much strength. So I'll use the one resource I have in abundance.
Money!
I mean people should know of my name if I spend absurd amounts of money on things. While this won't be able to fix the problem with my strength, it should gain me reputation. To advance from Tier 1 to Tier 2 you need the minimum stats of A on each. Then you would need either a legacy or high reputation or a feat.
Hmm?
That's it, that should be sufficient to call a feat.
I'll destroy the Qin family and their influence inside the Astral Realm. I mean I already offended them, I might as well use this to my advantage.
"Ron?"
"Yes, Master?"
"I want everything about the Qin family."
"I understand Master. Is their no limit on what can be done."
"The only limit is to make sure not to break the Astral Realm rules. Other than that, you can use as much Astral Coins that is needed."
"I shall get it done Master."
"Uhm? Master?"
"Yea, Stephanie?"
"Why do you need to know about the Qin family?"
"Hmm? Well their destruction would benefit me."
"Y-you want to destroy the Qin family?! O-only because it would benefit you?"
"Yes, that sums it up."
"…O-okay. Well the Qin family is the royal family inside their world. They control around half of their worlds land and inside the Astral Realm they have massive influence inside the Human Sectors. With 100-0 sectors for each intelligence race, they have influence in almost all of them. The only ones they don't have influence in would be the sectors 0-30. Each sector would equal around 500 square miles. The Qin family mainly focuses in scrolls ,talismans, and magical items."
"Hmm? Alright that's enough to start forming a plan of action."
