* Raon POV *
Well I should talk with the Village Chief when I go back. Even though he is only at the 3rd tier, he was once a bonafide 6th tier. He is also the leader of the last ancient humans.
He should have some interesting information or designs on talismans, scrolls, and magic items. Well that can come later as I'm not ready to go back to the Mortal Realm just yet. I have to make sure my foundation inside the Astral Realm is sturdy and can last. Considering the time ratio of 1:24.
The day goes by quickly with me just reading from the Astral Library. The Astral Library is where all the information is stored and can be read publicly. Of course some information is restricted and you need certain privileges to read. This routine continued for 5 days with little variation. After the 5th day, Ron had finished with gathering information about the Qin family.
The Qin family is a Royal family inside their world. They control around half of their worlds land and inside the Astral Realm they have massive influence inside the Human Sectors. The only ones they don't have influence in would be the sectors 0-30. The Qin family mainly focuses in scrolls, talismans and magical items. Most of their of properties are in the Mortal rank however they have 70 Astral properties and 1 Outer 5 property. The Outer 5 property is located in sector 31 and each sector has 1 Astral property. They have around 600,000 members with most of the members being tier 1 and 2. They have around 100,000 tier 3s and 50,000 of tier 4s and 5s. They have no tier 6 or above however they have a political marriage with the Sun family that has stronger strength, more members, and has multiple tier 6s. They have multiple allies because of their main business. They have recently suffered a major setback with a loss on their world. An attack from multiple nations across their wide territory has drained their money supply from the Astral Realm and their funds from the Astral Realm have been sent back to their world. Also around 45,000 people have already died from the war. Their main enemy would be the Lin family. They are slightly weaker than the Qin family however with the support of other forces they have bridged the gap.
"Ron?"
"Yes master?"
"Can you get in touch with the Lin family."
"Understood master."
Well I might as well continue to gather information while I wait. It took 2 days for Ron to arrange a letting with the Lin family. We agreed to meet at the Shallow Hotel in a couple of hours.
The Shallow hotel was even busier with the news of someone buying it. I ignored everything around me and headed to the meeting room. I arrived a couple of minutes earlier to set everything up. I made sure to arrange a tight security around where we were meeting and also prepared refreshments and snacks for the meeting. With sometime to spare I activated my abilities Royalty and Dragon Suppression on the area around me. I waited a couple of minutes before I was informed that my guests had arrived and were on their way up. A little longer the door opens and an old man wearing a silk blue changshan. He tried to look indifferent however I noticed his surprise when he walked through the door. It seemed like he wanted me to get up and greet him however I just stayed seated. After a couple of minutes he sat down and looked at me with anger. When he was about to say something I interrupt him.
"Don't try to lecture me, you have no right or the power to do so."
"You!!"
"We're not friends. We have a common objective."
"Humph! Whatever little brat. I heard what you want from your butler already. It's just I see no need to agree."
"Really? I mean I'm surprised you aren't rushed to get more allies."
"What do you mean brat?"
"I mean from what I've heard the Sun family is planing to make a move."
"W-what!? That's impossible!"
"How would that be impossible? It's just expensive to do."
"…
Please wait a couple of minutes while I verify your information."
"Do as you wish."
While we waited for him to get answers I simply sat there, enjoying the food and drinks. After around an hour he had verified it with his subordinates.
"What type of cooperation did you have in mind?"
"Well I believe that you have enough manpower. What you really need is something to help your financial situation."
"You want to donate money to us?"
"No,no,no, I have no plans on donating money to you. I do have interest in a trade."
"What type of trade?"
"I want to buy half of your assets. This would help ease your financial situation immediately, while also making sure you would be able to still make money."
"… I can't give you answer yet."
"Well you don't have much time as I plan on going back to the Mortal Realm soon."
"Very well, let me contact the family head and the rest of the elders."
"Alright then, what can I expect a response?"
"It will be decided upon immediately and might take a few hours."
"That's alright."
He stands up and leaves the room. I can't help but smirk about the position. While at first I did plan to just donate money and make sure they could damage or delay the Qin family. I changes my mind when I noticed some of their properties they own. They owned something that greatly interests me. While they have the standard hotels, bars, restaurants, etc. They also have stakes in the Astral Bank, Astral Library, and most importantly they own a transportation firm.
A transportation firm would include Teleportation keys, transportation to other sectors and other races sectors.
Teleportation Keys are used to teleport people in the Mortal Realm to other Universes, galaxies, solar systems, worlds, and locations. They have limitations like some can only teleport between planets or solar systems. Some can teleport anywhere as long as you have the coordinates.
Stake in the Astral Bank and Astral Library would unlock more privileges for me. An example would be access to restricted information or accounts that gain a higher interests rate or perks.
These three things are my main objectives while anything else is a bonus.
An hour goes by, then another, and when the third hour finally arrives. The envoy from the Lin family arrived back into the room. He had a solemn yet determined look.
"The Clan Head and Elders has unanimously agreed to your demand. The only condition is that you buy them with a 5% markup."
