Noah's POV
Nov. 21st (Wednesday)
I was in the kitchen when my mom walked into the kitchen.
"How is she?" I asked.
"She passed out again. I really hope the elders tells your dad something that might help because right now, I think what you did is too much for her body to take so it keeps making her pass out to try to heal itself." My mom said giving me a look and I nodded my head.
"I didn't mean to do it mom. It was my wolf." I said leaning back against the counter.
"Yeah because you ignored him. What have I told you about ignoring your wolf? You and your wolf has to always be in harmony and on the same page Noah. If you aren't these things happen." She said in a mad voice and almost yelling.
"She is your mate; both of you mates so you should have listened to him and I thought you wanted a mate so why did you keep letting her slip away and not listening to your wolf?" She asked shaking her head at me.
"I do want a mate mom; it's just I saw her and realized who she was to me and I don't know it's like all my worries about the future just came crashing down on me. With a mate, dad is going to want me to start training to take over for him and be Alpha. I'm just not sure I'm ready for that and you know dad, he isn't going to take no for an answer. We aren't supposed to show weakness." I said.
"Son, Alpha is your birthright and I promise you your dad will listen to you if you want to take it slow in training to take over for him. He just wants what's best for you; we both want that." She said.
I nodded my head as the oven went off.
"Well one thing I'm not is a baker." I said as I took the biscuits out of the oven and she laughed when she saw there was brunt on the top.
"How did Alpha Colson take the news?" I asked putting the biscuit pan on the counter then turning around to look at her.
"I can't say he is happy about you being his daughter's mate but he will not keep you two from each other. Just like us, he just wants what is best for his daughter and he knows having a mate is a great thing." She said.
"He really didn't like that you marked her and started the bonding process." She said and I nodded my head.
My dad walked into the kitchen and he kissed the top of my mom's head before sitting down on her left side.
"Well?" I asked when he just looked at me.
"The elders have never encountered someone like your mate but they assured me that they will ask elders of other packs. They did say that to them her passing out means her body might be going through something that it is trying to heal or repair itself from." He said.
"She passed out again." My mom said and he shook his head.
"Is it possible that in order for her body or even her mind to get over what is happening that she might need her mate near her?" Shay asked then we all looked to see him.
"I am not letting Noah near her until we know more because Noah and his wolf aren't in sync which means his wolf might take things into his own hands again." My dad said before giving me a look.
"Dad…" I started to say then he growled and I stopped talking.
"It's a no Noah. I am not changing my mind and in the mean time you will continue to be on kitchen duty." He said in his Alpha voice( no one can disobey an Alpha when they use that voice) and I nodded my head.
"You did this to her and if she comes through without any lasting symptoms, you better hope she forgives you and doesn't reject you." He said shaking his head then he got up and left the kitchen.
Anna's POV
When I woke up again, I could tell it was daytime by the light coming in from the window. The left side of my neck still hurted and I slowly sat up with my back against the headboard.
"Why am I at the Blackwell pack house?" I whispered to myself.
Our mate is the Alpha's son. His name is Noah.
I jumped out of the bed and looked around after I heard that.
"Who said that?" I asked.
Me; your wolf.
My eyes got big after that and I quickly turned to face the door as it opened.
"Good you are awake. Would you like something to eat?" Mrs. Blackwell said.
"What day is it?" I asked.
"Thursday day morning around 9:30." She said.
I shook my head because I had lost yet another day.
"Sure." I said and she smiled at me.
" You can follow me to the dining room." She said and I nodded my head before following her out of the room.
When we got to the dining room, I saw that Shay, Noah, a guy that looked my age and resembled Noah, and Mr. Blackwell ( I met him once when I was younger).
Shay quickly put his left arm in front of Noah when they saw me. I sat down away from everyone and I saw Noah's eyes change to almost black.
"Noah." Mr. Blackwell said in a threatening voice.
Noah closed his eyes and shook his head. When he opened them again, they were his normal eye color.
"Anna, you are safe here." He said then I looked at him.
"I'm Chance; the handsome awesome brother." The guy that I thought resembled Noah.
Noah threw a biscuit and hit him on the right arm.
Gag I don't like the younger brother but our mate, a lot of Alpha potential there and very protective of us.
I ignored the voice as their maid sat a plate of food and a glass of orange juice in front of me.
"When can I go home?" I asked after I ate a little bit.
Noah quickly looked at me and his eyes turned completely black.
"Shay, get him out of here." Mr. Blackwell said.
"She can't leave she is my mate. Touch me and I will hurt you." Noah said and almost growling the last sentence at Shay as he went to grab Noah's arm.
"And last I checked I have a right to want to go back home to decide if I want you as a mate." I said then Noah growled.
"She is right." Mrs. Blackwell said.
Noah stood up and flipped over his chair before leaving the room. Shay and Chance followed him.
"He is not a bad person. Give him a chance his wolf just went overboard." Mr. Blackwell said.
"I will consider it but I still want to go home." I said.
He nodded his head.
After I got finished eating, Mrs. Blackwell accompanied me back home. I went straight to my room while my dad, my mom, and Mrs. Blackwell talked. She left an hour later.
