The Dragons had arrived late since Eshelem was the furthest compared to the other kingdoms in the Southlands. Hence, their teleportation gate took time to summon. The meeting couldn't start because it was Eshelem that had summoned them, calling their reason urgent enough to drag the other kingdoms into this.
It was urgent enough for Asterisk's approval.
The kings and their closest subordinates all sat in one room to discuss the issues. However to keep their customs, only rulers could exchange words during the meeting. The rest were observers unless permitted to speak.
As high guards, Catherine and Rein's job was to make sure that the king and Queen of the Valron were safe. And in case of any danger, they would only protect those from their kingdom. Those were the rules.
