"Director Reginald! It's an honor to meet you in person." Arthur gave a stiff bow, then lifted his head back up too quickly.
The old man smiled politely, his gray eyes less intense than the day of the selection exam.
"Please come in, Director Reginald." Arthur spoke after the shock of seeing him here disappeared. He pulled a chair from his desk and motioned the old man to the sofa he was lying on earlier.
"What a quiet room. Don't you get lonely?" He cast a stern look at him and the wooden floor moved on its own, guiding him to the coach. The amount of harmony he had with the earth element was amazing. He hadn't seen him move his staff nor his mouth; the ground just seemed to bend to his will without even a command.
"Not really, I enjoy the company of books." He pointed at the small stack of books on his desk as he took a seat right next to them.
The old man placed his staff aside and adjusted his back to straighten himself.
