Maezul Village, Democratic Union of Aviye

The weeks following the strike against the Spider's underlings proved fraught as the East Izhvani Solidarity Movement stepped up their activities.
The border forces were discovering that the fighters had started abducting villagers en masse, and were dropping them on the Aviye side of the Ravi Nala river, which formed the western border with Izhvahan.
The villagers, desperate and often lacking food, would walk down the river where border patrols would spot them and render aid. Meanwhile, the EISM used the distraction to get convoys across at fords, either oil going to Izhvahan or supplies coming from.
It didn't always work, and so the border guards had a steady buildup of captured oil tankers and smuggler trucks. These were sent to Escator for processing, and thus Maezul became a rest stop for border guards looking to spend the night.
