Henry moved with his wheelchair to the entry port. Then he floated away from his wheelchair and began to meditate midair. Suddenly he teleported out of nowhere.
Henry arrived inside his Domain again. He felt around his Domain to find if there were any more energy balls. He then felt there were 3 more.
He tried to absorb it to summon Alter, but Alter was already there.
Henry tried to pull the energy ball to him. He observed the presence of the energy balls vanishing rapidly, going from 3 to 2 to 1 in just a few seconds until the one that he was pulling in was the last one. As the energy ball was near enough that he just had to grab hold of it, it vanished.
Alter, "I can guess you did not come here on a whim. You came here for me, isn't it!"
Henry looked behind since that was where he heard Alter's voice.
Henry saw Alter there. Henry faced his right palm straight at him and pushed him away with a large piece of debris that came from behind Henry. It forced Alter a bit far from Henry and then Alter shoved it away.
Alter, "Is this Why you came here? To fight me?"
Henry stood silently, gazing at Alter without any indication of hesitation.
Alter, "I can read you like a book, and it seems like you're here to talk," while giving him a penetrating stare and emanating an overwhelming sense of authority.
After Henry witnessed the force of his power, he crunched his teeth in anger.
Henry knew too well that he had no chance at defeating Alter even if he went full out now.
Henry, "*sigh* You are right!"
Alter calmed down, "Alright then! Tell me!"
Henry smirked and then appeared in front of Alter.
Henry, "How are you so oblivious!", he placed his palm on his chest, and then Alter teleported away.
Alter was in a dark place. He couldn't say what he was inside of.
Henry, "This the 15th time I got you!"
Alter does not remember the past because he was only conscious inside Henry. Alter could only come out if Henry overflows with energy making him overloaded.
But Alter did feel like this had happened to him before.
Alter, "Again? Damn!"
Alter was inside the island that floated above the lav inside Henry's Domain. It is a Trap cell*.
Alter tried powering his way out there, but as he tried to use his energy, he felt it was drained right away before he could use it.
Alter felt he got out of there before too. Alter believed his sense of déjà vu and tried to overpower his way out. He powered himself faster to use it, but he was overloading the trap cell. After the Trap cell exploded, the island collapsed, and Alter emerged from the wreckage.
Henry, "And again. That was the 3rd time I trapped you there. You remember that, don't you? Even if you don't, I want you out of me!"
Alter was confused because he felt he was Henry himself, "I am you!"
Henry was angry, "NO! We are not!"
Alter, "I was just protecting you", in a sad tone.
Henry knew he wasn't lying about that. He protected him from any danger he was in.
Alter does not remember who he was before and always felt he was Henry.
The former Devil is Alter but with no memory of his past because he wasn't a true devil to put a curse on Henry. Alter was a human before he turned devil. His gift was Eta's gift's worst enemy. He gets stronger and stronger with every damage while Eta conserves his energy to beads instead of letting everything out.
Henry, "I am done with you", in a low voice.
Alter felt like Henry spoke out, "What?"
Henry, "I SAID! I am DONE!"
Henry then raised his hands in the air, and all the debris began to float around Alter as Henry moved away from there, trapping Alter.
Alter felt rejected and didn't move an inch after what Henry said.
Henry brought his hands together and clapped once, forcing all the debris to smash Alter.
Alter was being smashed slowly. Alter was mentally broken after just hearing Henry didn't want him there.
As Alter found himself trapped under debris, "Henry, you're wrong. You need me. I am you!"
Alter overpowered out of the debris and went on a rampage moving all around, demolishing everything in his path, including falling debris. Surprisingly, he spared Henry and didn't attack him.
Henry felt Alter was mocking him, showing that Henry couldn't be a threat to him.
Henry, "You think you're better than me? *sigh**laughs* I will finish you here and now!"
Alter stopped rampaging and faced Henry, who was behind.
Alter looked angry, "You are me. And I am you. There will be only one of us, From now on. And that will be. ME!"
Alter moved at an incredible speed that Henry couldn't keep up with. Henry was shocked at how Alter got behind him. He grabbed him from behind and used him to smash the debris, hitting Henry's head in the process.
Henry then used one of the debris he smashed into as a teleportation port and got away from Alter's clutch. Alter thought Eta arrived after seeing that technique, but that was Henry's new technique he learned from Eta.
Henry got an idea with the teleportation. He then stopped using his power and calmed down. Alter didn't understand what Henry was planning, but he didn't strike him till He would get back to attacking him and did the same as Henry.
After a few hours of staring and contemplating what could have happened if they had decided to talk this out peacefully.
Alter decided to make the 1st move and slowly move towards Henry after he reached him in touching distance. Alter teleported away inside a Trap cell which was inside another Trap cell and in another one.
That was when Alter used his grace for the 1st time since he was a Devil. Alter put his left hand in a dimensional portal connected to another one behind Henry's right shoulder. Alter then touched his shoulder and shifted places with him. He teleported to where Henry was, and Henry teleported to where Alter was.
Henry was inside his trap cell, but luckily it was his Domain, and he could destroy it in a blink, and he did.
Henry appeared suddenly in front of Alter, and the two of them locked eyes from a distance of 7 feet.
Alter, "Are you satisfied?"
Henry remained silent.
Alter, "Am I your enemy?"
Henry kept quiet.
Alter, "Have you found your purpose?"
Henry, "Yes!"
Alter smiled, "I am glad", as he vanished into ashes.
Henry then took a deep breath in and exhaled.
Later he teleported back to the entry port on his wheelchair and slowly moved back inside.
Eta saw him return, As he watched from above the entry port.
Eta, "Why were you away?"
Henry stopped moving inside after hearing Eta.
Henry, "I wanted some air." and he continued to move inside.
Eta, "AIR!? Inside your Domain, you mean? I don't think that was all!"
Henry ignored Eta as he was slowly reaching the entrance.
Eta then started to walk his way fast to stop Henry before he got inside.
Eta reached in front of Henry and stopped him.
Henry, "Alter isn't your fault!"
Henry got triggered just hearing his name but controlled it inside.
Henry continued on his way inside, "I know", as he gently moved Eta aside.
Eta sensed a new energy emanating from Henry. Although unsure whether it was positive or negative, Eta was pleased to feel that Henry had discovered a sense of direction.
Eta giggled, "Whatever you say!"
Henry clenched his teeth in anger, just hearing Eta confident.
