Chapter 101 - The Maid and The Martial Artist

"Heh! I'm looking forward to fighting you, Sakuya from this world!" The other Meiling declared, adopting a beckoning stance that signaled her readiness for battle.

Sakuya responded with a smile, but there was a subtle quiver beneath her confident facade. "Likewise."

This Meiling from the other world wasn't an ordinary opponent.

She possessed unique abilities tied to the concept of "qi," an ancient energy flow that could disrupt even Sakuya's time manipulation.

With lightning speed, Meiling lunged at Sakuya, (Colorful Sign: Dazzling Color Typhoon." A swirling typhoon of vibrant energy and temperament surged towards Sakuya, the raw power of qi radiating from every inch of it.)

Sakuya reacted swiftly, snapping her fingers just before the tempest of qi reached her. Time itself began to slow down, creating a surreal atmosphere within the library.

"Typical Sakuya... but I can break your time-stopping with my qi!" Meiling proclaimed, her voice resolute. Despite the sluggish pace of time, she stomped the ground, invoking a change.

As if in response to her will, time snapped back to its normal flow. Sakuya's eyes widened, "I see... That's brand new to me, but..."

Sakuya's words hung in the air, and in an instant, she was already behind Meiling. "I hope you'll fix the mess you made in this library, won't you?"

With a graceful flourish, ("Time Sign: Imaginary Vertical Time.") Time froze once more, and an array of knives materialized, encircling Meiling in a deadly dance of blades.

Sakuya's voice carried a sense of urgency as she whispered, "Cancel."

However, to her dismay, the deadly barrage of blades surrounding Meiling continued to advance with unyielding determination. The situation grew tenser at the moment.

Meiling recognized the impending danger.  With a swift motion, she swept her left leg in a graceful arc.

Her movements were not just a defensive reflex but a well-practiced technique.

Gathering chi from her surroundings, Dark clouds gathered overhead, and a tempestuous storm began to take shape around her.

As the knives made contact with this swirling maelstrom of energy, they deflected off its surface, dancing around it in intricate patterns.

Sakuya observed this with a hint of surprise in her eyes.

"That's Meiling's Colorful Rain, but with a distinct twist," she muttered under her breath, acknowledging the power and skill of her adversary.

Meiling, with a confident grin, taunted Sakuya by beckoning her forward. "Is that all you've got, Sakuya?"

Sakuya responded with a playful smile. "Oh, don't worry. I've prepared plenty of knives just for you." With a snap of her fingers, a fresh wave of sharp blades materialized behind her, all aimed directly at Meiling.

Meiling's excitement was palpable. "Hehe, I'd love that!"

As Meiling and Sakuya continued their fierce battle, the library around them began to bear the brunt of their intense combat.

The repeated use of powerful spell cards and their impressive martial skills took a toll on the library's structural integrity.

Books flew from the shelves, debris scattered across the floor, and cracks formed in the walls.

Despite the chaos, neither Meiling nor Sakuya showed any signs of stopping.

As Meiling and Sakuya's battle raged on, both of them were beginning to show signs of fatigue.

They panted heavily, their movements growing slightly sluggish.

Meiling taunted Sakuya, her voice strained but defiant. "What's wrong, Sakuya? No more knives to throw?"

Sakuya, despite her exhaustion, managed a confident smile. "Huh? I still have enough knives."

  1. Basically the same as Meiling from the original Gensokyo but different (You'll see.)
