Elliott walked into his room and frowned when he noticed the presence missing. He was so engrossed by Lauren's absence that he had not returned to his room for once, and now he felt that presence was no longer in his room.
As he scanned the room, Elliott's heart sank. The familiar scent of lavender no longer lingered in the air.
The emptiness of the space seemed to mock him, reminding him of the void that had now taken hold of his life. As if the very essence of his existence had been stripped away. How could something so integral to his happiness simply vanish?
"Lavander..."
"Lanvander!" Elliott shouted, and she still didn't shown herself to him. He called out the name one more time, his voice echoing through the room.
