Lauren woke up feeling her head, and when she moved, it wasn't just her head but her whole body, as if on fire. She groaned in pain, her senses overwhelmed by a searing sensation that engulfed every inch of her being. 

Slowly, Lauren opened her eyes, only to be greeted by a blinding light that pierced through her eyelids. As her vision adjusted, she realized she was lying on a cold, yet soft surface. Confusion washed over her, and she desperately tried to recall how she ended up in this disorienting state.

Lauren looked around; it was an unfamiliar room. White ceiling, white walls, and a window in white. The bedsheets were white, and everything inside the room was white. Her gown was also white with a few patches of flowers on it. With a close look, it was a hospital gown. Lauren tried to remember why she was here but felt her head start hurting as she held it with ease.
