Jerouch had tried to wake Azel gently, but the latter seemed to be in a heavy slumber. Hence, he jolted him up with one of his fingers coated in bluish lightning, which left a burnt man on Azel's skin.
Immediately, Azel's scream rang in the air as his eyes suddenly opened, and he looked left and right in confusion, before his gaze finally settled on Jerouch's figure who was too close to him.
Azel tried to pull himself backwards, but Jerouch's firm voice entered his ears.
''Tell me every god-damn thing you know about this world.'' Jerouch was too stressed to beat around the bush.
Azel glanced at him with suspicion. He looked around just to be sure of where he was.
'I'm still in the basement, no?' He wondered, confused.
''I'm afraid I don't have that much time, old man,'' Jerouch spoke in an authoritative voice, his young appearance defying his grim voice.
Azel gulped, seeing Jerouch's bloodied figure and the weird question he was being asked.
