"Drake!" violet screamed from behind me.
She ran up to him, grabbing on to Drake sobbing. Drake groaned, which made violet look at me in shock. Those tears that were coming down like rain disappeared in an instant.
"Father, why do you support this bastard? He almost killed drake."
Marten slapped her. And screamed into her ear.
"You're an imbecile, this man right in front of you, Is the eldest son of the silver family. Jake Sait Silver the missing son of the silver family. At first I didn't believe it, I thought he was some bumbling fool pretending to be him. But I feel as if that proves it." He turns to look me dead in the eye. " Boy, it's been too long, you may not recognize me but I'm your great grandfather, Morton silver the father of the great hero Westly silver. Your father has been looking for you everywhere, to think I would stumble upon you like this. Sorry If this sounds rude but where did you learn that technique? I've traveled far and wide but I don't believe I've seen it before."
What the hell is going on?
"Tim Cunningham, taught me it sir." I said in a respectful tone.
"Tim Cunningham, I think I do remember that name. yes, vice captain of the red griffin knights. I do vaguely recall him being a master swordsman."
He accepted it so willingly. Well, I guess this makes things simple.
"Oh, and cut it with the sir and stuff just call me gramps." Marton added.
Violet looked like she was truly shocked, staring at Morton unable to say a word.
"So." I laugh. " I guess this means violet, is my grandma."
Morton nodded.
Violet looked as though she was gonna faint. And she probably would have if Drake didn't start coughing, bringing her back to reality.
"Dad, get the bandages, I will try and stop the bleeding. Jack go and fetch water." Violet demanded.
I grabbed the bucket from the back of the wagon and headed to a nearby stream that I saw earlier.
