Dam Son came into the living room; hurriedly reached for his apparel scattered across the floor and put them on. "How do I look Papyrus?"
"See for yourself." Papyrus created a reflective dark sheet that Dam Son could use to view his appearance clearer.
"Huh, this is…?" Looking through the page mirror, Dam Son realized that something new was present on his forehead. "When did these black coins get here? They look similar to the one I picked up last night."
5 identical dark coins still maintained their horned posture on Dam Son's forehead. He reached his hand up there and picked one. "Yes, it looks exactly the same. Papyrus, do you know how these got here? Does it has something to do with you turning black as well?"
"Well, ahh…" Papyrus was hesitant of informing Dam Son about the incident that took place prior which caused its pages to darken coupled with Dam Son's forehead mutation. "The thing is…" Papyrus told Dam Son everything that transpired up to the point where they view the fragmented memories contained within the golden sheet.
"Is that true?" Finished listening to Papyrus's explanation, Dam Son inspected the coin in his grasp. "This thing dyed your pages black after you came into contact with it, this is also the reason why my Avatar was revealed earlier. Do you have any idea what it is, Papyrus?"
"I have no clue. Information on this sort of magical coin isn't inside my scriptural database."
"Do you have any idea who might know?"
"Neither." Papyrus had no suggestions.
As he continued to analyse the outer properties of the dark coin, Dam Son made out some tiny unreadable characters on the side. "What does it say?" Right after he spoke, his Wisdom Stone projected many streaks of light across the dark coin as if interpreting its unreadable characters.
"Do you understand what it says?" Papyrus asked, hovering curiously.
"I think I can make out a few characters… AGNIS… EPSION VARUM…" Something trembled. "Woah!" Dam Son accidentally flipped the coin in the air when he felt it vibrate slightly in his palm. He quickly reached out to grab it before it touched the ground.
"I caught it. Huh…?" A dark matter exploded into Dam Son's face just as the coin landed back in his hand. "W-what the heck is this thing! Get off! Get off!" Dam Son tried shaking off the dark matter which was embracing his body. "ARAAAH!" He screamed out in terror. Due to his impactful fright, he collapsed onto the floor.
"Newborn!" Papyrus wanted to ameliorate Dam Son's trepidation, however, it had no clue how to do so. All it did was hover around Dam Son while calling out to him repeatedly.
"ARAAAAA!" Dam Son's horrendous lamentation gradually came to a halt when he recognized that the dark matter had completely vanished along with the coin he picked from his forehead. "Hm? It's gone?"
"Newborn, how are you feeling? Did that black haze torture you?" Papyrus was flipping back and forth worryingly.
"Strange, I don't feel any different." Dam Son said as he stood up.
"Are you certain that coin didn't alter anything within you? How is your mind? Can you still recognize me?" Papyrus was frantic.
"Of course, I recognized you, Papyrus. I'm still sane. Nothing has changed…" Dam Son shifted his eyes to his arms when he suddenly felt a strange build-up of energy leaking out of him. "Is this…?"
Many dark V's started slithering out of the pores on Dam Son's epidermis, moreover, enlarging. They started twirling around his arm, gradually forming into an unstable storm.
"AWE!" Being unable to bear the agonizing strain much longer, Dam Son tossed a couple of punches at the air. The increasing storm of V's slowly subsided after Dam Son's bombastic release.
"What was that just now, newborn? I've never seen anything like it." Papyrus was distraught yet at the same time amazed.
Observing his arms intensely, Dam Son spoke in bewilderment. "That was an explosive Natural Verb Force. I think."
"What? You were actually serious about that thing the geezer taught you? But, you couldn't show it off before, so how? How did you manifest such an overwhelming amount of Natural Verb Force?"
"I'm not sure either. I think that drunken elder might know more about this. I will go see him before I head to class." With his Wisdom Stone singularly fixated on knowing more about his explosive NVF (Natural Verb Force), Dam Son exited the Tower of Residence apace, making his way towards the tall mountain where the swindling elder resided.
A couple of minutes later, Dam Son arrived atop the swindling elder's mountain. The elder was swaying from side to side in a comfortable hammock hung between 2 sturdy palm trees. Additionally, he was enjoying the morning dew while chugging down bottles of wine. A lot of empty bottles were spread out around him. It seemed as if all this retired elder did was drink constantly around the clock.
"Ahh, what a nice day." He was chugging down 2 bottles of wine simultaneously. "Morning liquor is the best for relaxation."
"Hey, mister! Mister!" Dam Son started calling out to the drunken elder from afar.
"Hm? Is there a bug somewhere?" The drunken elder dug through his ear hole using his overgrown fingernail. He thought he heard a bug crying out.
"Mister! Mister!" Dam Son showed up before the drunken elder looking haggard. His abrupt appearance startled the elder out of his hammock. He crashed into the empty bottles below him.
"Dammit! I almost injured my ass." After finding his footing again, the agitated elder unleashed his brusque tongue at Dam Son. "You blasted brat! Where did you come from sneaking up on me like that? Are you trying to give this old man a heart attack?"
Dam Son bowed respectfully while saying: "Sorry for disturbing you out of the blue like that. I know you said that I shouldn't come back here but I need your advice on something very important."
"My advice on what?"
"Look at this…" Dam Son stepped back a few paces from the drunken elder's position then began his demonstration. After some seconds of focusing, Dam Son's arms burst forth a vicious cycle of dark V's!
"Ahe!" Seeing Dam Son's overwhelming Natural Verb Force almost made the elder tumble on his dusty old rump. "How is this possible!? NVF isn't something that can be learnt in a matter of days and yet what I've just witnessed with my very eyes was the Basic Mastery of Natural Verb Force!"
The elder's eyes shot wide open as he approached Dam Son and rested his arms on his shoulders. "Kid, what sort of illicit cheat did you use to accomplish the impossible?"
